I could understand a hand-made sign for a mom and pop business but a big company? I would be happy to offer my services to all the major parts companies in exchange for free parts.

"mike-san, kore wa ii desu-ka?"

"pft, ah, chigau, baka mitae. Taabo kito onegashimasu."

Apexi used to have a very early AFM piggy back called a Big Flow Controller. It actually said on the head unit "BIG FRO CONTROLLER".I asked the guy at the shop if it came with a hair pick and a Commodores record.

Get a load of this stuff.http://www.engrish.com

I know it's an odd way to say it, but I always took "Performanced" to mean something like tuned/honed and "by Trust" to indicate the company (Greddy and Trust are one in the same, yea?)

Another couple of snapshots, this is the general position of where the catch can will be mounted..

I need to have the bracket welded up but you get the general idea..

Still going to run power steering I see. Did you modify that bracket? It looks smaller.

a low mounted catch can as pictured will fill with oil quickly.

I dont have any data, just trial and error.

the closer the catch to the breathers actual height the less blowby it will fill with

IMO that manifold would look alot better ceramic coated. i had my manifold in the heat wrap for 8months or so and i just drove me up the wall every time i worked on the car. the itch you get drives you bonkers and it was starting to get a bit of surface rust that was worse then normal so i got it ceramic coated and now i am addicted to the stuff lol every thing including my planum and runners is getting doneits good to see that you have used allen key bolts every were looks awesome

Thanks for that mate, although I am hoping I don't have that much blow by, you can't see it in the photos, but the catch can has a dash 6 outlet at the bottom that will be rerouted to return oil to the sump..

The catch can is also fully baffled, it I had an extra dash 8 bung welded that I no longer require so it will be capped off, you can see it in the photo pointing to the block lol...

R34 - Yep still running power steering, it is very heavy steering with 18x9" on the front, plus this is a street registered vehicle.. Ohh and I did modify the bracket..

BQ - I did consider ceramic coating, however I have found in my research that the process is either performs well or it doesn't, there is no in between. I have used FG heat wrap on previous manifolds and for me it is a tried and tested performer....

The socket head bolts do look good, but are also fumctional, the only issue is you can't buy them in the thread to suit the oil pump/water pump bolts so I am fabbing them up, i also had to fab a bolt for the power steering pump as manufacturers don't make them any longer than 80mm...

As in keeping underbonnet temps down... I know a couple of guys who have had it flake off after 8 or 9 months or so, but I also know other guys who swear by it..

So it is more of a hit n miss thing...

Meminto,Have you considered using an auxiliary vacuum pump for crankcase evacuation? Benifits include better ring seal/less blow-by, as well as greater effective BMEP on the pistons from as little as 5" H2O depression...

the inner diameter of the valve cover breather is more approximate in size to a -10 than a -8.

I would think a motor of this caliber breathing as hard as it will could benefit from something even larger than factory.
