I saw this thread an had one picture of the injector/intake runner block of a Euro CA18,

I have seen both JDM and EDM blocks side by side and the intake plenum piece looks identical to me.I didn't measure though...

I hope it helps a bit.

That is the first pic I've ever seen of it! That rules! Although the first thing I notice is that the injector looks like if fires right into the wall between the two cylnders...

You are correct float. The injectors fire direclty at the wall seperating the two ports.

Doesn't some company in Japan make an injector that actually injects two separate streams just to resolve that issue? It seems kind of like a bad idea to me...

I can't see how it could possibly be worse than the 8 port head which has an injector firing at one valve per cylinder.

my evo injectors (which Buffy now has) had twin jet pintel caps.

The precision 950 injectors I have now have 6 jets.

It's not bad if you've got the butterfly's hooked up correctly and working. They really do help out with the bottom end of the powerband.

this is the latest version, getting flow tested thursday/friday, larger volume (as i finally got some engine bay dimensions, the other were to suit transplants into datsuns mainly) and playing around with bellmouth lengths.

i will keep you updated with the results.

Those runners look a bit long. Was that designed & flowed with a specific goal in mind, or just put together to look pretty?

They are made to meet a special goal. He´ll loose a little high end, but gain alot at lower rew´s. just when the turbo bost is high.

yep, that's what i was going to say.Long runners help low end torque, not entirely sure why without getting books of the shelf, probably some odd resonance/pulse thing.

Does looky might shiny.

Bigtone will probably chrome his, he chromes everything including his gearbox bellhousing.
