URGENT INFO

i just came across a 1991 coupe with an auto transmission, in need of a new head.

i can buy this janx for 400 bucks, swap the head with my spare, and perhaps even swap in the 5 speed stuff from my black coupe.

easy money for more buildage?

DIBS if you're selling. Like. Seriously.

It seems to be crazy difficult to find a coupe around here...

I have a coupe you can have for 250. Runs great, no rust at all, complete interior, did I mention no rust? 5 speed too, and no rust! TAKE IT!!!

But really what would happen to your poor hatch? You could probably make some cash off of it, drift tax around here is at a premium right now

Haha, no rust, yeah right. Ive seen the ground through the floor of that thing in multiple spots....

Unless you're talking about a different one. Then we'll talk.

And my hatch...I dunno. I like it and all...I just have strange and dirty thoughts about coupes now...

Lol if you really want it, but there are some holes in the floor, rust all over, and it just plain sucks. It is 5 sp, it does run, but right now in order for it do drive again it needs the brakes bled and it needs a new clutch pedal assembly. I'll say 500 and it's yours. If you're serious say something and we'll take it to email and off tramp's build thread lol. Free bump!

i worked til 2. sorry mang, im off tuesday and thursday this week though, and its supposed to be nice all week, i believe.

as for the update i was talking about, i just cut a bunch off of the back of the black coupe. from the front of the rear fender well back is all off and currently behind my garage.

ive got another foot or two to cut off, to make it a legit front clip. then im gonna clean everything, get rid of all the glass, and sweep and vaccuum a bunch in the garage so i can get it somewhat clean so i can move the clip to the back of the garage easier.

heres some pictures.

the scrap sitting behind the garage, most of it is one big piece, and the roof is one piece still. that was an absolute joy lifting OVER the front clip, and over my red coupe to get it into my yard

just another angle to see where it was cut from the chassis.

no roof! and emptiness in the back of the garage.

i havent stepped foot back here for the past 6 months id say.

funky angle, showing the cut better.

my WMD, and my somewhat fresh tires on my teardrops, plus my subframe.

one last picture of all the tires i got form work. ooh baby.

more will get done this week, including some body work and stuff if logan's able to make it over on one of my off days.

nah, i had just loaned a friend some money when i found out about the 240, so i didnt have enough to spare

havent really done anything with the red coupe though, its just chillin. got the window visors in though. theyre in perfect shape, last set that Askme4parts had.

im about to spend like, 250 out of this paycheck. then the rest is gonna get saved for the motor stuff next paycheck. im currently like a month and a half - two months behind my project timeframe. hahaha, it sucks.

ill have about 6 feet or so extra room with the rear end gone.

time for another somewhat mediocre update.

ive basically just been working and stuff, trying to get money together for my internals.

in the meantime, ive been straightening up my garage, and finishing cutting the front clip off the black coupe. plus i got a toolbox so i can organize everything that's been laying around my garage and in my car's trunk.

finished cuttin' the front clip. now waiting to move and pull the engine.

first fresh oil change, with extra oil and filter, courtesy of NTB for when i finish and swap the motor.

diff, driveshaft, subframe and wheels.

BFG banner (also courtesy of NTB ), 3" exhaust hanging from ceiling, Craftsman fender apron.

the tool box and compressor, all the tires you guys've seen already, and my headliner and passenger window from my black coupe.

gonna move the clip into the back of the garage so i can fit a cherry picker and engine stand in there ASAP. i wanna be able to have my motor ready to be put back together when i get my motor stuff.

questions? comments? discuss.
