I generally get around 17-18MPG driving in the city. Mind you this is New York City with lots of red lights and traffic. My TPMS says my tires are all around 36-38psi (at around 45 degrees).lenka12 wrote:How your gas mileage increased? I have steady numbers for last month, it is only around 15-17 MPG in City.
Well I think they should have mounted the sport button on the shifter where the O/D button is and scrap the O/D button altogether. All it does is drop the CVT in low range which you can do by dropping the shifter in Low.followingnfront wrote:I think they should have left the sport button in the same location as the 1st gen. Right in the same vacinity as the shifter.
This is my experience as well. To get 30+mpg for me it has to be warm out and I have to be driving 55-65mph on a very flat road. Where I live it's very hilly, and this car sucks with hills and MPG. I average 24mpg in the summer and 21 in the winter. This is mostly rural driving with very little stops and an average speed of about 45mph, but lots and lots of hills.Ferrisfan wrote:I never saw mine improve that dramatically. I've gotten more than 30 one time when I did the entire tank on the interstate. City mileage is typically between 23-24 mpg for me.
Also, it is worse in the winter (as mentioned).
That's what I noticed as well, I was surprised to see how much it resists getting up to 2500rpms considering I would have my foot abut 1/2 way downTudy wrote:
It keeps the RPM's low and doesn't "downshift" when you accelerate to go up an incline or pass a vehicle-hence also saving on fuel. I noticed a good difference in fuel economy in my 2015 S with 1,400 miles on it.
Strongly agreed, I was convinced they got rid of the sport button when I first sat in a 2015 Rogue because of it's bigger bulkier size(couldn't believe how different it felt compared to my 2013 Rogue. Seemed like going from a motorcycle to a tank) and the fact that the button wasn't by the gear shifter anymore.Tudy wrote:
The location of the Sport and ECO are in a ridiculous location. Talk about taking your eyes off the road for too long!
can be, mine is FWD. 3rd row.tsumeone wrote:Most of the people who are getting in the low 20s for mileage seem to have the AWD version, myself included. I'm guessing the AWD hurts the MPGs much more than Nissan's numbers let on.
I have a 2015 SV AWD and was getting 39.5 all the way up to 45 MPG driving 25 MPH around a state park yesterday....don't know who accurate that is though.tsumeone wrote:Most of the people who are getting in the low 20s for mileage seem to have the AWD version, myself included. With mine, I see the option to update everytime I turn the Rogue off. You should be able to scroll to highlight update to set the new best.Maximus099 wrote:I was wondering if I can set it for any trip I want or does it just give you an average since the vehicule was new? When mine was new it would periodically ask me if I wanted to update the average mpg but now being 8 months later it doesn't. I guess it gives you that update option If you get a better result than the previous registered.
