'well being that i am in college, and DMB kind of 'came out' (hehehe) when i was in high school. the best explanation i've heard was from a classmate saying: "it's good music to get high too" ...so there... now you know. did i mention i hate mainstream music? the next thing i know all the preppies are wearing tye-dye DMB shirts and hemp necklaces...um yesh!
you know who else i hate? that guy from Matchbox 20 that did those songs with Carlos Santana. You know, the songs they play 100 times a day on the radio? I HATE THAT GUY'S VOICE! it sounds like he had a frog in his throat and the lyrical quality is RETARDED. don't get me started! just you wait and see, he'll give out a statement about what he thinks about Iraq and i'll be at his house with a sniper rifle! i hate him! AGH!

Now you see the correlation Vimy. I talk about s***...blatant and pure. You talk s*** and try to hide it behind knowledge, unsuccessfully I will add. You amuse yourself buy thinking that your ideas are earth shattering and ground breaking when they are actually ignorant diatribes similar to those you claim to rebuke. I am not attacking your intellect but the info you use to come to conclusions is sub-par and incomplete at best and a conclusion is only as good as the info used to derive said conclusion. You can say it as you will or may but to me you have yet to express anything that you haven’t heard on “Talk of the Nation”. My point still remains that any imbecile can regurgitate what he/she hears and sees on the tube….you still have only a very minute percent of the facts and you present them as if you are a member of the Cabinet.
Our leaders are making difficult decisions with tons of info, the extent of which you don’t have the capabilities to understand. So I say again…you are a toilet seat politician reading the Sunday paper on your porcelain throne and solving the problems of the world like only you can. Dragging US leaders through the mud isn’t the productive way to solve issues although we have the freedom to do so. Amen, Hitman! DMB would be a great band were it not for DM. Their drummer is darn amazing... so Dave decided he wanted to open his big mouth about the war so what everyone has their own opinion just like you can post your opinion here he can send a letter, email, or whatever he wants to whomever he wants and if it gets placed in a a newspaper, website, or whatever who cares he is just stating his opinion and remember everyone knows opinions are like a$$holes everyone has one
Now Daves music is different just because he doesn't use the typical electric guitar, bass, and drum combo as everyone else name at least 20 bands(besides country) that use a fiddle, a badass drummer, and a saxophonist with an acoustic guitar and bass come on its different and people like his music because of that and come on just listen to some of his words in his song hell "Crash into me" do most people know that is about voyerism about a guy staring through a window looking at a woman, and that "Bartender" is him talking to God come on guys give them man some credit hell at least he writes most of his on ****ing music unlike the main stream pop singers and DAVE is FAR from POP ****ing music

I always find it amusing how US citizens regard Canada. Something does not quite make sense: A democratic industrialized nation with the same standard of living as the lower 48 choosing not to be part of the USA. They know it doesn't make sense but somehow Canadians are unpatriotic but that confuses things again because to be unpatriotic Canada would have to be part of he US. Then again Canadians must be socialist becuase they have a national health care program that they love but they have a capitalist economy. But, if you cross the border an Ameican feels right at home except for the colourful money, good coffee and beer. I'm sure that when some American's look at a map of N. The very fact that someone is a professional Actor and or Singer doesnt mena that they are qualified to talk about politics and should be listened to , but the exact opposite.

Fortunately or unfortunately everyone who pays taxes gets his/her opportunity to speak. It's guaranteed in the constitution. I do agree that people who sit on piles of money that they didn't have to work very hard for does make people leery of their motives and motivations.
