It's not a special lot, it's a big grass field inside the fairgrounds next to the "race track" which is actually just a paved piece of land in the middle of nowhere.

I'm going to put this in BIG letters so you don't forget...

DO NOT SPEED ON THE PA TURNPIKE, THE STATE POLICE HAVE SECRET HIDING SPOTS AND WILL GIVE YOU A MONSTER TICKET. WHEN YOU GET INTO CARLISLE TURN YOUR RADIO TO BARELY AUDIBLE THE CARLISLE POLICE DEPT. WILL BE LOOKING FOR STUPID MOPES LIKE YOU WHO THINK IT'S COOL TO HAVE YOUR MUSIC LOUD.

Carlisle PD will be on the prowl, this is the worst even that they have to cover during the summer because ricers and people with more bass than brains run rampage all over there small town and annoy the residents. While they have several shows throughout the year, the bulk of them are for muscle and old school cars, and most of the people who have those types of cars have some maturity to them.

The PA State Police is amping up it's speed enforcement program because it's coming into the travel season so don't speed or do anything stupid that will draw there attention to you. Also PA has a huge anti cellphone/texting while driving program that has recently gone into effect so stay off your phone, and for th love of god make sure everyone in the car has their seatbelts on, that's a ticket you absolutely can avoid getting.

Wait, why are you giving him real advice?

Last I heard all the cops in PN ignored people driving QX4s. So feel free to do as you please.

You know, that's an excellent question. I don't know why I keep giving him advice either. He's going to ignore it.

Great thanks for the tip. If the speedlimit is 65 I usually do 70 or what ever else the majority of people are doing.

So I will park my the nico tent. When I arrive will the ticket person be like "where are you parking"?

They probably won't ask. But if they do, you simply tell them you're going to...are you ready?... The NICOFest area. :slap:

Yes to the first question. For the second question, I would STRONGLY advise you not to blast your stereo in the paddock or beside the NICOfest tent. If you behave like a turd, you will surely invite abuse on yourself (which you will not want) and you likely get tossed out. No refund.

If you feel compelled to blare your stereo, there is a stereo contest at 4pm. do it there.

I just want make sure you're clear about the stereo blasting. You will get ejected if you act like a jerk.

I don't know how much it is. You can always check Carlisle's website.

I literally want to come for the sole purpose of punching Nala in the face. Can you do anything yourself?

Haha don't worry, I don't think I'm coming. I still have a ton of work to do on my car before she's even running.

Well as of Wednesday morning, my car decided to run on 3 cylinders. :frown:

Found my NGK wires of 3 yrs were friiiied. Ok, easy enough, so I did a quick tune up.
New plugs, cap/rotor, and wires... and it was running great yesterday until last night. Randomly dropped down to 3 cylinder again.
Come to find the BRAND NEW wires have 3/4 of the spark plug boots are broken!! (Fell apart rather)
FYI: NAPA WIRES ARE TRASH (no one had NGK wires in stock right away)

Fiddled with it to make a better seal and the car is running "fine" now.. I'm leery about driving all the way to Carlisle though.
I'm going to try to make it out come hell or high water.

Bubba: bring your trailer for me.. I'm going to try and make it

Return the wires.

I've never had any issues with the cheapies from autozone honestly.

Thanks.
Already talked to NAPA and I'm getting a refund when I bring them in (can't take 'em off until my NGK's come Tuesday).
Only thing I can do is go to Autozone in the early a.m. and buy some cheapo Bosch wires or something. The car is running fine as of right now though.

Honestly, for the relatively little time it usually takes to change the wires I would pick the replacements up in the morning. I don't ever like to risk driving a vehicle in unsure condition any length of time.
