Large events like these are one of the many reason's I wish I had a Ruckus, or at the very least a mini bike. I'm all for walking but really don't like being on my feet for long periods of time. If the Army taught me anything it was to sit whenever possible, you never know when the next chance to take a load off will be.

I just made a thread about the Ruckus! Man those would be fun at an event like that.

My car isn't insured or licensed yet and I get back May 7th from college at like 6pm. Seeing that we leave around 6am May 8th I don't really have time to do those things so my car is legally ready to drive. I wish I could take it uughh :tisk:
...you know you could just do those things like... now right?

Ugh, I don't have the time, FINALS YO!!! Plus I just put 350z track rims on, it's sitting 4x4, rubbing and coilovers are on the way. I really don't want to drive 4 hours the way its sitting right now. We shall see.

How the hell do college students have the money to do anything to their cars? All my money went towards rent, bills and tuition.

FIRST

Always wanted to do that.

I am completely broke as of now. Hopefully this summer I'll have some extra cash that isn't going towards all the things you listed for car stuff!

Don't even get me started on that, you don't understand the amount of advice I have personally given him and he has done none of it.

LOL, I guess it's gratifying to know we're not the only ones whose advice he always ignores. :)

OMG, this is going to be hilarious. I can't imagine the shenanigans that will ensue once you all meet Nala. If he's this retarded on the internet, I cannot imagine how he is in person.

Pics of NICO staff/members with Nala is a must.

Sorry I can't make it guys. It's a little far for me, lol.

Anyone coming out to Carlisle looking to crash at a hotel... I'll be out there Friday night and Saturday night at the Holiday Inn or whatever it is that all the Staff and major meet up is at.

Give me a few bucks you can sleep on our floor. Bring a sleeping bag. The more the merrier, and the less we all gotta pay! Everyone wins.

Edit: My name is Steve. E-mail me at [email protected] any time up to the event to get more info. There will be a few NICO members in that room already I believe.

Just to add, I will most likely be getting an air mattress for Steve's room, so a couple of us can sleep in relative comfort.

NO BEER FOR TOMMY. THAT IS ALL.

Anyone else wish it was next week? I'm so psyched, if I wind up not having the money to go to this I'm going to be very unhappy.

Me too. I'm actually looking forward to having someone else there take pics. There never seems to be any pics of me, cos I'm always the one behind the camera.

This is a golden opportunity for the cheap/poor people out there. Steve is a stand up dude. Less money on hotel=more money for beer.

Steve I think you still owe me a ride in your 240... the one last year got cut a little short ;)

Last weekend, when I was instructing at the BMW auto-x school, I had a student with a brand new boosted 3 series. Naturally I assumed he was in the IT profession like myself, as thats where all the money is in the beltway (aside from taking lobbyist dollars), but when I asked he said he was attending George Mason.

I was like you, all my cash went to bills, tuition, books, rent and then whatever food I could get. Plus I was going to the worst of the three major Uni's in Arizona, Northern Arizona University, so this is demonstrating how broke I was if I was barely scraping by there.

I'll be taking a lot of video of the autocross section and compiling a trip video afterward.
