See, told you I was in your area. Had an interview yesterday at the Atlas Van Lines warehouse on Headley Place. Missed my exit for Rt13 and took the Rt32 exit off of 1, got lost in the suburbs of Moorestown for 5 minutes and then finally got turned back around and got back on track.

As info, I am told Carlisle's bikini contest will not conflict with any of our track time. It's scheduled at 7pm Saturday at the grandstand (other side of the Fairgrounds). :dblthumb:

Also, if anyone could bring a cooler or 2 (large), with some ice packs, that would be great. We always seem to buy a bunch of BBQ food and then never have a plan for storing it.

Not quite. I don't know the room number until check in, :lolling:

Are you going to be there? I don't know that we've ever met in person, and I love the grilling threads!

Steve I think you still owe me a ride in your 240... the one last year got cut a little short ;)
Thanks for the rep! The car is stronger and stronger every year. Shouldn't be any problems like last time now. Only new problems... lol

You can't talk your parents into letting you stay? That sucks man.

That problem was downright fun.

You: "Car's on fire..."
me: "WHAT?!"
you: "RUN!"

Run? I never said run. The car got off the track, it was put out, and no one besides like 4 of us had any clue what happened.

That must have been the calmest, quickest incident ever, lol!

Is anyone that is staying at NICO HQ bringing there Xbox 360 with them? This way know whether to pack my controller and charger, I'd bring mine but...:

1) I don't have my own room
2) The gf will go into withdraw from not being able to play Civilization Revolution.

XBox? There won't be time IMO. By the time we're done at the Fair Grounds, it's eating time. Then after eating time, it's drinking time.

And drinking time is a long time. And then it's 2:00AM and we're playing horeshoes until James yells out "Duck" and that was the end of the game. And then we woke up at like 7-8:00 to go eat before racing all day again...

Drunk gaming is the best gaming. Seriously you get some crazy reactions from people when you play drunk.

What was this? I don't recall anything like that happening haha.

Also, Nala/Dire. This is what you do. Come 7 o'clock, you call up your parents and tell them that you are staying because the drive down was so crazy that you simply do not feel safe driving back in the dark. You'll have a place to stay with friends in a nice hotel, and you just want to play it safe by staying the night and not burning yourself out on 8 hours of driving in one day.

Ooorrrr...

He could say

"look mom, I am 18. I know I still live at home and I respect the free room and board... But just this one time I am taking a night out to go to this cool car show that is far enough away that it just doesn't make sense to do the drive round trip in a day. It will be alright, don't worry... but I never get the opportunity to do stuff like this and it will be a lot of fun. Also my nigga Dire wants to stay over night and I don't want to make him drive home the same day"

Or you could just man up and call them and tell them that you're a grown a** man and you're having such a great time that you want to stay in one of the rooms your friends have told you that you could stay in.

I'm gonna try and be nice on this one

The response you got doesn't sound too hopeful,

If she really wanted to go with you she would have said "yes, but I have to check at home first"

I think she was trying to be nice. Ask someone else, don't wait for the other chick
