Only COD4 talk I have to add is that I still haven't picked up the game again since the stupid "get back to the evac zone" mission after the sniper flashback pissed me the royal effing hell off with it's uselessly crappy teammate AI and massively unfortunate autosave timing.

That mission is a PITA, but there're so many easy ways to beat it...

I set all my claymores and then run to a corner ALL the way near where the enemy's spawn. It is like 1000meters from your crippled buddy.

Also I had this question forever now...

Has any one beat the Sniper Mission in COD4 while fu*king every thing up?By that I mean, killing the random dog eating and the other things the Capt. tells you not to do.

I really enjoyed every bit of COD4 up to this mission...but this one sucks SO BAD it's enough to ruin the whole game for me. It feels broken to me, frankly.

If you kill the dog, it howls...at which point a TON of other dogs show up and wreck your s*** in a hurry.

I was scarred s***less to do that on Veteran....as it took me no less than 4 hours to beat that mission alone on veteran...

I agree, I didn't find this mission particularly fun, BUT the never ending spawn was necessary in this mission. Because s*** had hit the fan, and you are in enemy territory. So they are trying to kill you at all costs. This is why you need the strategically placed C4 laid out on the hill. Also when you do finish the mission you are still getting chased and shot at from behind...

I know, I found it impossible to move on once you shoot the dog. I even set up all my claymore and C4. They Just seem to not stop coming...

But I was just wondering if any one beat it while messing up on purpose.

The endless spawning wouldn't be an issue if I had some damn help. But instead of me and a dozen other guys fighting endless hordes, it's just me fighting endless hordes while the dozen other guys pick their noses and stare at their boots.

Oh I see what you mean.

COD4's friendly AI is interesting...They either clear out a room before you can even distinguish an enemy target or they do absolutely NOTHING... The campaign issues really didn't bother me much because I was in it strictly for the story line, then i went straight for the online.

Although once you beat the game you get to play it as an arcade mode and that is fun when you can play missions and collect points like in online multi player.

It seems like I have seen it on the raise lately. I wish I had the power to personally increase the post minimum for the classifieds for certain members I see BSing on NICO. Turn it to 30 is we see foul play. Then the 2nd offence make it a mandatory 100 posts.

PS3 servers have TONS of glitchers apparently who or what every was in charge of maintaining glitch free games no longer cares or isn't active.

People are floating all over the map then landing and shooting then floating again... You can't kill them and they can't kill you when they are floating, BUT once they land in a super epic spot they can shoot and kill.

People have been able to sit in object that previously you couldn't. People are hiding in trailers, tanks walls etc. They can shoot and kill you but you can't see them.

Finally, people have been able to land on the bottom of maps and shoot up and kill people... WTF. One guy on went 67 - 2 in Hardcore Headquarters on the map Bog...

I am going to play NCAA until someone updates me on this sh*t.

So god mode, no clipping and UFO have finally hit the PS3.Well IW patched the 360 version a couple weeks back, so they should already be 90% through patching the PS3 version.

Once the checksum encryption is installed all the cheats will stop....im really surprised they left COD4 so open to hackers. Considering how big the franchise is, id have thought they would have a check-sum in for sure.

I really hope it gets fixed REAL soon, i dont really like playing cod5, so cod4 has been my last refuge to online play.The whole game has turned into a run for your life, and or try and kill the hacker, regardless if he's on your team or not.Thats if you even get to play at all, everyone is soo fed up with it, people keep leaving and ending the game.

If you are any good you can get tons of kills. People die super easy and there isn't a spawn dely so you can sit back with a sniper rifle and go to town.

Exactly. I leveled all my Sniper rifles in HC Headquarters.I suck at sniping to no end, but in HC its repetitively easy, Maps like Crossfire and the bog are just built for snipers.

Thats kinda a touchy subject. Theres a lot of people who will say WaW is good. But in all honesty its a copy and paste of MW. Its so similar to MW you might as well be play 4.But MW has better guns, and IMO better maps so i chose to stick with MW, the only reason i every bought WaW was because i was getting bored of 4. But after reaching lvl 65, i went back to COD4 and have been playing it since.

The online is awesome and the maps are much bigger then in COD4 but I just don't like the feel of COD5 or the guns so I beat the game and walked away...

W@W is hands down the best FPS for WWII IMO, COD4 is a great modern that much is true.........a masterpiece as a matter of fact. I myself love COD4 but choose to play W@W for the simple fact of the much larger maps, lots more downloads to expand the experience, it feels so much faster with better movements, ZOMBIES!! Yes the series went backwards but IMO was the right move to get the WWII right...........so with MW2 coming around the corner with me waiting for 11-10-09 to hit.

Sorry i didnt have my mic RCA, it was with my neighbor and i really didnt feel like going to get it. Nxt time ill have it 4 sure.

And it took me a while to get the grove of playing HC again, my first 2 matches didnt go so well, but after that i finally start playing properly. We should def get another match going. Ill stick to HC so im not such a liability.
