sorry tom. i found my camera today tho. soo this ones for you.

drove car to work last night. everything was good. came home slept till 1. woke up. hungout with a lady friend. then drove to advance to pick up my sparkplugs.yayyy $10 doller sparkplugs.oh wait.WTF. 3 sparkplugs. guys at advance were like freaking out. so they have to order another one. which will be here tomorrow... awsome.well on the way home all of a sudden car dropped cylinder again. pulled up the dukes house and bo and luke came out to help me."idk man, its turbo, i dont know turbo" thats all they could do so big ron was kind enough to follow me home to make sure i got there ok.we figured out if we pinch the vac line running to mbc it seems to run a lil better. so i looked for vac leaks and sure enough.so being the hardcore 240sx owner.. i grabbed some duck tape.fired it up. a lil better but not right.then mechanic friend came over from accros the street. "you check your ignition coils?"yup. he then just reached over a tugged a clip on one. it was broken. plugged it in and engine ran like a champ.so fixed the broken clip with a ziptie of course.so that explains why it ran yesterday fine after i checked the ignition coils. the clip just wasnt keeping the wire on. another mystery solved..i have lots more stuff but i gotta go to work.

soo question nico. that look right to you?or this?ugh.that is all.i may take the 240 fishing tomorrow..back to MY ROADS. gravel

Its a 1990 charcoal grey color. I used GM charcoal grey to replicate and it came out vry close to the oe color which is what the hood is.Sweet update chris. See it just takes some time and thought to troubleshoot. Great job findin the problems.

Wow, you can work with sheet metal pretty well...

Just a question about the oil leakage... What weight oil are you using?

Check on top of the subframe and the motor mounts. Usually they get seated in there when u drop em.Make sure u didn't drop it inside the cylinder man lol.Get one of these at harbor freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/c...90566

Just pull your old ones off when u go into the store and match up the sizing. Idunno. It's different for different vacuum ports.

oh i ment like. 10ft redo all the stuff.or 1foot and repair the worn thru one.butttti went to american speed center. and they could only do 50ft of it for 50 bucks.i was like screw that. thats way to much tube.i went to advance and got normal rubber tube and just did the one hose. im gona order silicone good tubing off the internet soon.or if any of the lanc boys wana split the cost... 50 feet is enough for a few cars... comon tom. you no you want that smooth silicone under your bonnet.

ok...
ive been falling beind here.
soo... got new front calipers since junk yard ones wer leaky leaky
Image
now.. let me tell you. when buying calipers. if it comes with hardwae. DONT USE IT. OEM is the only way to go here.. at least this was the case for me. it was all cheap and even one caliper pin bolt got stuck and had to pay for it to get taken out.
example of strange random hardware...
Image
it felt like plastic. odd. anyway.
eventually got em squared away.
Image
im sick of brakes.
then i was all like duddeee front mount intercooler.
"hey joel, got any piping???" "sure do Bersh, ill be over in the morning"
ghetto-rig,ghetto-rig.
FAIL!
car bit me,Image
and piping didnt really fit....
DUH CHRIS. s13 SR20 PIPING NO FIT CA18
this is the best that we could get the hotpipe to fit.
Image
ha.
then i was like. well. custom piping needs to happen.
but since i gota relocate battery might aswell do it.
so got a battery box from sears.
Image
$10 bucks.
its plastic. guess what. i dont care. im gone secure the battery differently. not jus sit it in the box. its more to make it look complete.
mocked up the intercooler withoug pipes this time just to make sure it fit.
i think its perfect.
Image
i also decided might aswell remove the rear sound deadening.
HAMMER TIME.
Image
the bill called. "hey your paints here you ordered"
SWEETOOO
Image
i wish you could see how shiny it is..
Image
i have lots more but im tired.

screw it ill post some more.
ordered cables for battery from knu concepts or whatever they call it.
SUPER FAST SERVICE.
1/0 gauge amp kit. 150 amp fuse.
Image
i also got a 150 amp cirsuit breaker for the back. gone use inline fuse in the engine bay.
DOUBLE PROTECTION.
Image
im putting the circuit breaker righttt here.
Image
sooo buh bye useless trunk light.
i wanted a brighter light for the hatch anyway.
so i chop chopped.
Image
got a harbor frieght led strip.
Image
and then when i put the fuse in.
SUPER RICE LIGHT!!!
Image
HAHA I DIDNT KNOW IT WOULD BE BLUE.
ohh well. dont hate.
i just had the hatch open in the dark and its SUPER bright. much better than the oem crappy light in the corner. so i like it.
i really wish i had read the packaging before i bought it tho. i thought it would be normal like yellow light.
ill post a pic of it in the dark tomorrow so you people can see the super lit up blue interior.

Basically the paint thing is a sore subject. It caused many a family argument. I have a new plan though.
And joel... You should see my basement...
I have an entire wall lined with parts on shelves and such.
Alot of it got put on the car last weekend tho.

And i just need to say it. Thankyou lancaster for putting up with my random and pointless questions. But ive learned so much the last couple months. Couldnt have done it without everyone.
