I like the stance of the car combined with the relatively thick side walls of the tires.
IMO it looks much better than the hellaflush guys with 18" wheels.
Oh, and what size are the wheels in the last pic on page 5?

ill play the update game now that i have some time.

After the coilover install my car was parked for weeks.
couldnt drive anywhere cause of the spacers needed to clear pepboys wheels. lugnuts kept falling off.
so i bought some xx4 513s and a bunch of crappy tires from some guy out in the middle of nowhere.
Image
tires where 225/50. way to big. and a chopped them to death driving 20 feet so i parked the car again.
bought some federal 595s for them in 205/50. best tires evaaa.
Image
Image

in the middle of this i sanded the car down to its factoryish primer/paint stuff.
and all of a sudden my paint guy backed out again.
so i called up some random guy i met twice. RXEVAN.
and he said he had a barn. so... 20 mins later we were hanging plastic and buying paint guns and all kinds of stuff.
drove the car over there with no bumper, no paint, studded tires, past a police station, past a tank. epic.
pic of barn with car in it..Image
started taping.
Image
our lil plastic room was fun.
Image
then the next morning my good friend from work and I started painting.
Image
let it sit overnight, then drove it home the next day.
everyone came over and we wer chillin and putting stuff together.
Image
you can spy diddersons hardbody in the background.
it turned out pretty good.
Image
Image
ill finish other half of update tonight.

I was wondering how do you sand around the plastic/rubber moldings around windows without scratching them? or can you take them off?
I might be doing some painting so, it would be nice to know, thanks!

opps sorry s13al forgot about my build thread.
sanding is nothing but time consuming.
just tape off the windows and be super careful.
no biggie.
i used 220 to strip the paint then 400.
i sprayed high build self etching primer reduced alot to make it into a sealer also.
then 2 coats color.
3-4 coats of clearcoat.
i dont have time for update right now.. but i have lots of stuffs.

hello wiring from hell.
this is the ignition switch. ewww replaced that..
Image
so.. 3 days of soldering and wire cutters + a visit from MGE
= all wiring fixed.
moved guages around to eliminate the stupid pod thingy.
Image
explain this tho. the PO. decided to smash a hole in the dash to run the wires. instead of using that perfectly good vent right there.
ugh.
Image
i undercoated the bottom of the rockers.
Image
installed super cut fender liners
Image
started to gloss black stuff like the rear wiper.
Image

decided to try out rotella t6 oil.
got a new air filter and 1:1 rad cap, and hubcentric rings too.
i love doing little things.
its soo nice to have money in the bank.

Word of caution with those fender liners. You can get crap caught behind it that can trap moisture against the metal of the fender well and start some rust.

He's right, drill some holes in the bottom of em :)
But from time to time it will hold dirt and leaves, so beware.

Try to install front fender liners, gives high pressure up front and flows thru IC and rad better.
Lookin good BersH! lol

Yeah, my barn is pretty epic. It stored an old VW beetle, then a 240Z, then my RX7, and now had a 240SX painted in it! Woo hoo. Hopefully we can get a garage attached/built in to the barn so my dad can get himself a mustang and I can store my RX7 in a clean place and not outside.
