They're a pain in the a**. Theres 4 bolts on the brackets between the headlights. 5 or so bolts (on each side) where the fender meets the bumper (on the side, you will need to remove the fender liner) Just keep looking for and removing bolts until it comes off.

get man wheels. none of this 8" or less stuff... that just cant be allowed in RANCASTER!!!!

Ha, I know what rallyX is, I was asking you for the link because I was hoping it was alittle close to me, but its not.

And I read wrong when you were talking about the spring rates.

You got balls to race on dirt with RWD haha. I'm sure you'll be in a rwd class though

Pretty sick parts list. I'm always surprised by the intensity of your build being that you're 16 and are acquiring sick parts. You are learning what it took some of us years to learn early on. Good game.

Aren't 240's great? They can do anything you want .

nice fitting wheels would be nice.but eh.i have a bunch of 17 inch tires in storage. if i go to a 16 that means ill have to BUY tires everytime i spin a set off.i dont mind battleship right now.coilovers are what i need.

ill do a lil update since this got bumped up.well ive been pretty out of the picture the last month ish.that huge snow storm killed work for me so i had no money.plus i had to pay insurance IN FULL.ive been doin odd jobs here and there lile radio installs and fixing rust.also been helpin a local body and paint guy learing a lot.paint is on order coilovers are also happening very soon.ive decided to go with fortune auto.why you ask?6/7k springs. which means stiff enough for drift/autoxsoft enough for rallyx. just adjust the dampening around a bit and i think thel be well rounded.they are beefyy. they used to be overseas but they moved over here and they rebuild in the USA. plus a bunch of other stuff.

cars running good.i did however rip the entire interior out one day and cleaned EVERYTHING.i found about 30 stink bugs living in my car. fun stuff.removed rear broken seat belts and ugly shoulder belts.insulation under hatch carpet also went byebye.spare tire well was rustin and got full of water. clean and painted that up.but i found out my taillights just started leaking like crazyyy.in 2 hours it had filled with water again. so gona seal em up after paint.end long pointless update/

na man.i wish. gettin to it tho.update time.

remember this bad boy?well the other day i woke up and said. "F*CK IT IM FIXING THAT STUPID THING"so ripped up carpet. bought an angle grinder. and went to town.let me tell you. using an angle grinder inside my car was the scariest thing i ever did. sparks hittin me in the face and all over the interior. but ehgot it cut.bent that lil flapper down and started beating the dent out.came out alright.tadaaaa its almost perfect. almost.ya so that was done.then i fixed my door. that sucked. took me 10 times and 30 phone calls and texts to figure it out.then on saturday had some more fun...pulled my front wheels off cause my brakes wer making funny noises and when i went to remove the caliper pin bolt. IT WAS GONE.awsome. had to call nisan. they told me to call infinity. infinity gave me a part number and told me to call nissan. nissan had em. picked them up. $10 for two bolts. they better ad 10hp. part numba 44141-JA00Ather a lil different than the original ones but the parts guy said that they had problems with those bolts falling out so they redesigned them. figures.so another mystery solved.then sunday was my birthday and i got this nifty low profile jack. i know im not low but a normal jack wouldnt fit under my car anyway. this makes things alot easier. so i changed my oil to test it out.and noticed this stupid powersteering loopy thing hangin down right over the drain plug. made a mess. so gota fix that.... somehow.so thats what ive been doin...only a lil more body work to do then getting a coat of high build primer.then after i sand that.real paint. the paints in the mail now

When I paint my car Im gonna go for gold flake... satin black and gold just does it for me...

Anyways, nice build! I like the ca, although it isnt my style, but I can appreciate the work that can go into getting parts for those things lol. I need to get working again so that I can actually DO stuff like this to my car...

soo...pig bumper and lip is being painted as i type this.

i set the boost to 10 yesterday.cause 14 is too much and car hates me.but i noticed some oil in my bov. GREAT.called MGE. drove to his workplace. he comes out. says "fix this this and this and your turbo is gona die within a year"no biggie. its fine for now. intake tubular thingy is clean. its just a residue in bov.on the way home. took it to redline a couple times.which i havnt done ever since boost cut would prevent me.about 1 mile from my house full throttle second gear.everything felt so perfect and then POP!!!thought i blew it up. only at 6k rpm.limped it home on 3 cyl. sounded just like a subaru. it was awsome except the fact that its a nissan so thats no good.ripped the thing apart. cams looked fine. valves wer good.asked some ca gurus whats going on."sounds like a subaru" and there response was "fuel/spark" not blown engine.that made me happy.so eliminated some stuff. and thought it was an ignition coil.but today i woke up to go change it and it fired right up no problem. ran perfect. but in higher rpms it misses a lil.so now i think its just old crappy plugs. they looked pretty fouled so ordered some new ngk ones. They are being overnighted from japan pickin them up from advance tomorro.

and going today to gilberts to see if they can bend me some super cool intercooler piping.i think im forced to have a front mount tho. my core is too long for mid. and i wana keep my flipups. oh well, boost response should still be good. and that is the end of my procrastination... i really gota get some school done.

It's normal for a perfectly good journal bearing turbo to leak some oil into IC piping during use. It shouldn't puddle up inside the manifold more than a quarter sized puddle IMO if it's functioning properly.

You can still do a compression test but I'm glad you found a solution man. Sorry I couldn't help ya last night I was studying for thermo test.

I'm impressed with your CA, and yes I'm pretty sure that the plugs will fix that, dont worry so much about the cylinder hitting the spark plug, i honestly think it was just normal motor sounds....Just check that plug and check.

im getting the tune soon.john at j-k tuning in carlisle is doing it.hes booked solid all month but hes excited to tune a ca.so as soon as i get my injectors back from clean/flow test and get i/c on im good to go.

and ya joel i thought about that. piston hitting sparkplug wouldnt ever happen. ha. its not a lawn mower engine. i felt dumb for saying that. if it was hitting there is something VERY VERY wrong.

and tom yes i think its fine i took all the piping off and it was all clean.just residue in the bov.

oh and for the record.white comet is deff right. gilberts is dumbdumb.i went to ask if they could make me some ic piping and they wer like no we dont do that. "just use pvc piping its alot better."i wanted to bite someone.

so idk what im doing for i.c but i need to get i done by next weekend..
