Hey guys, got my 3.5/Premium Gray coupe on May 30, finally took some pics.

Hope they show up. Gray is not as flassy as other colors, but I like it , kinda dark silver.

Got it for MSRP, the first guy I went to on Memorial day marked it up by $3500.

I have a huge favor to ask! I need to know what EXACTLY u guys got with altima coupe in terms of Owner's Manual, trunk net, bluetooth manual, lock nuts.....anything else? I think i might be missing the service and maintenance manual? cause i know the sedan comes with one. And did anyone recieve more than one trunk net? I just recieved a corner one, I thought there are supposed to be two!? one side and one full!?...and anything else.

I also need to know how to fix minor scruff marks from leather....someone rubbed against my seat and its a lil scruffed, perhaps from a zipper or button...any ideas on how to repair dat??...

THANKS!!!

I got 1 little side net, didn't get manuals, said they didn't have any at time when I bought the car, still lazy to call to get it. Got DVD thou.

I didn't get wheel locks, bought some thou. How can you only get 1 wheel lock, so just one rim, or is a wheel lock bit different?

toxik, wheel locks are lugs nut that have locks you put on rims so they cant steal the wheels, one on each wheel.

hattrix, or anyone that knows. How did you get front console box(arm rest) to extend like that? I can't seem to do it.

Hmm, I don't have any buttons on arm rest just two latches to get to the tray and bottom bay. Am I missing a button or am I just too stupid to figure this out. Oh well, I doesn't seem to do much, just looked kinda cool.

Um, I just put my hand on the back of it and push forward and it slides forward. Actually, if my arm is not totally dry as a bone, I can just push down with my forearm and slide it forward. There aren't any buttons that I know about or that I have seen.

yeah that's what i figured he meant. I didn't get any. Maybe they only give them out to 3.5se's though.

Another thing I noticed on my coupe. It seems that they didn't clamp down the plastic cover that goes over the shift knob area on my coupe. It kept preventing me from being able to open the center console, until I saw what the problem was. Other than that, everything has been running great so far.

Stupid question, but do you guys use the auto headlights on/off feature? I've been using it but some of my friends advised me against it, although they didn't really have a reason for why not to use it.

Man, just figured it out right before I saw your post. I was trying to do that at first, but didn't want to pull too hard incase break it.

I look like an idiot, this is my first fancy car so never had all these nice things like leather and all. And there is a button for everything else so, I figured he was telling the truth.

Phakfear,

No problem, that is why we are all here, to learn from one another. Don't feel dumb. You are the smart one to ask the question that probably 50 other people were too afraid to ask.

Toxik,

I have run exclusively with the auto headlight feature with the fog lamps set to it. (In case some don't know this, the fog lights only turn on if the lights are on. If you shut the lights off the foglights turn off, even if they are set at on. If you have the headlights set on auto, when they auto shut off, so too will the fog lamps). I have had no problems with it. I love it because it lights the front door until I get it open. The people who told you not to use it had a good reason for not giving you a reason why it is bad, THERE ISN'T ONE! It is perfectly acceptable to use it. Many newer cars don't even give you the option, it just does it. You have nothing to fear using them.

LOL 1 lock nut bit (key) the four lock nuts are on the wheels (1 each)

I think I want another side cargo net for the other side, I wonder what nissan is gonna charge for it...Really the only thing I had to open the manual for was to set up the bluetooth. I also was intrigued by the slot on the left corner of the dash (but figured out it's to charge the key fab)

I honestly haven't used it yet, but I think it's just another owners manual. i did not get GPS (I love my Garmin Nuvi) and will mount it in the big storage box in front of the shifter.

the dvd is actually quite helpful but most of it is stuff in the reference guide. The dvd doesnt have actual video, its just still photos with a voice over that explains different things. It's only good if you're too lazy to read the quick reference/owner's manual.

woooo. I saw my first altima coupe yesterday. It was some bland grey colour. Going eastbound on the 401 near Yorkdale mall. Was it any of you toronto or mississauga folk? It seemed to be an older male. It was alot smaller than I expected. It almost seemed smaller than my 240, although I know that is not true.

My parents don't use the cargo nets that came with their 06' Altima so I'll be using them. Now I can see one everyday on my way to college, somebody got one in a house on the steet I take, of course that'll be to satisfy my sight until I get mine (hopefully this weekend ).

Thanks for everyone help, got it.

What is the consensus on fog lights. On with headlights or only when fog, bad weather?

They look cool, but some people say it bad for other drivers.

As I said in my previous post, I leave mine on with the headlights. Not sure how they hurt/affect other drivers, they aren't high beams or anything. I know most cars I see that have them leave them on with their headlights. I think they look too cool to leave off even if they serve no functional purpose when not in fog (save for maybe slightly more lighting). Honestly, if I were another driver around my Coupe, I would have more problem with the HID lights. Those MFers are bright. I would hate to be in front of me with those bad boys shining into your car. Anybody see Christmas Vacation? I get the feeling that the Coupe is the Griswold's house all decked with lights and the car in front of me is the neighbors with the house flooded with light, blinded and fumbling around. Hey, you gotta make yourself laugh once in awhile right?

Here's a fast look at the Nissan Altima Coupe and how it differs from the sedan in a youtube video. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTizQRf_rrU

I just took possession of a 3.5 premium edition w/out nav on Monday the 25th . It is in the dealers shop at the moment because none of the interior, overhead lights will, or have ever, worked. I also tried my iPod w/ the aux input and got horrible results. The sounds is high-pitched and it pops and whines a lot. If I jiggle the jack on the stereo it switches back to radio as if nothing was plugged in. Everything seems to be working right on the iPod and the cable is brand new. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these sorts of issues. I’m hoping they will be fixed when I pick it up after work today and hope they don’t have to replace the whole stereo for the aux input malfunction.

Other than that, I love the car. It is everything I have been anticipating about. I did not receive a DVD but did receive all of the books and service manual. I am in Lafayette, IN and the dealer said I was the first in town to buy a Coupe, gotta love it!!!

Hi I just posted in the main altima section by mistake. Just wanted to include some photos of my new Code Red Coupe. Bought it about 3 weeks ago and love it! 3.5 with charcoal leather and premium package.
