Ummm.....personally......NO ONE SHOULD WATCH A DVD WHILE DRIVING. I'm sorry but that's the reason they have that where you can't watch it. That is how a huge disaster would happen. At least that's my opinion.pbonis wrote:I am sorry id this is redundant, but I am ne and just purchased an 2007 M35. How can I watch my DVD with the parking brake disengaged and while I am driving???
thanks

After more than a week of non-stop phone calls and internet search engines, I've come to the conclusion that the Antenna Kit has not even been released. Everyplace I've contacted says the #'s in their system, but they've never had any in stock or even seen them. It's not listed on Metra's site either.versaspeed.com wrote:Here are all the part numbers for Versa Dash Kit's.

So if you don't change your head unit or amplify your speakers it will sound like crap. I do not want to change my head unit so i went with the 2 ohm infiniti's. $299+tax. Don't use 4 ohm speakers if you keep the factory head unit!!

Yeah, I rechecked my connections and I got it working again. I drove around for about 30 minutes then went back home, it seemed to be working fine. A few hours later I went to go out shopping and it wasn't working AGAIN. Guess I'll just have to take it to a shop.Jemdawg wrote:It is more likely to be a blown fuse or bad connection than a blown HU.
Well, I went through it again, removed the crimp connectors (I don't trust them, connection-wise) and went at it with good ole fashioned electrical tape. Now the unit (after working AGAIN initially) seems to maintain a power connection, but the buttons stay illuminated even after turning off the car AND removing the key. Which is really odd because I didn't switch any wires, I just re-wired them one at a time. Gonna check on it in a bit, to make sure it turns off eventually, my luck it'll kill my battery.Jemdawg wrote:Sounds like some wire is loose, either the 12V or the ACC.
