As of today, there are only 2 engines left and they have owners and destinations. One is getting the full maintenance package to include new rings, rod bearings, head gasket, rod bolts, timing belt, and new water pump. The other is getting a super upgraded hybrid T25 (one of my old specialties) that will support about 300hp.

But the main purpose of this post is to inform all potential buyers that the only motors heading this way will be automatics (at least from my main supplier) and all others won't be here for a while (2 months). While most people prefer the manuals, the automatics are the better engines in terms of abuse and maintenance. So far I only ordered one to be brought in for my full sylvia conversion-based convertible S13 that I will be tricking out.

I'm not trying to pedal these motors off in place of the manuals, but they are not subject to the abuses of the manuals either. So I would say to the board members and all newbies, you can either be patient and wait for an engine from me or talk to pulsar gtr or take your chances on ebay when they become available.

Between 2 importers over 15 motors have been ordered, but I won't take another quarter from anyone until the engines are sitting in their warehouses waiting to be inspected. Any questions, feel free to respond here in the forums as we are kind of a family here and I don't want anyone to be in the dark.

I'll say this and I'll leave it at that, don't buy a motor off ebay because of its availability. Make sure you thoroughly investigate whom you're dealing with or contact me for assistance and questions.

just a little FYI for anyone who might be discouraged by the auto motor thing: Venus sent me an auto motor, and it took me all of about 10 minutes and $8 to make it a manual. You just tap out the pilot converter with a slide hammer, and tap in the $8 pilot bushing with a rubber mallet. done.

and pulsar gtr has a manual transmission for sale, which would get you to having a 5spd pretty quickly id think. and the motor aould probably be in great shape.

They are RWD! Which do you need? RWD or FWD because I do have an FWD motor stored for myself.

I'd like something slightly better than what I have, but don't wanna drop $450-500 on an s14/s15 T28:(

I paid $475 for mine and it will out perform a T28 with no problem. The more interested the merrier. I'll rap with my rebuilder tomorrow to see if he'll cut some huss on the cost.

Keep in mind, this is just for the engine. These things rarely come with a wiring haness or computer. But if you need a computer, let me know it won't be stock though.

This is my personal back-up engine for my g/f's car and after 3 years, we haven't touched it. It's in storage, so let me know when you're ready.

Maybe if I'd gotten an auto from Dee instead of a manual from Venus I wouldn't have to be saving for a bottom end rebuild instead of saving for an equal length turbo mani....

if this $475 thingy requires a turbo to build it from, what kind would i need to send down to ya? would the ca unit work? and if i dont need to send a core, count me in!

float, what exactly happened again? i vaguely remember, but wouldnt new rings/bearings/gaskets work? or do you really need a whole new bottom end? i wouldnt think youd need to replace all that stuff unless it threw a rod. even if you melted a piston, youd probably have 3 that were alright, and in the worst case you could probably recycle at least some of the rods. if you need internals you could always buy one of those crappy looking 1st gen CAs off ebay. or am i missing the big picture?

Hey Tyler,

If I'm not mistaken, you may be able to get a complete SR set for around $1500-$1600, but I'll have to make sure that my guesstimate is correct.

Tim - It just needs rings. So I'll have to replace the rod bearings, rings, and head gasket for sure. But if I'm going to go that far into it, I'm going to replace all the bearings, oil pump, crank sprocket, strengthen stock rods (shot peen & cryotreat), forged pistons, rings, headgasket, head studs, and rod bolts. That way I shouldn't EVER have to take it apart again. Unless I kill it...
