i'm up in Orlando, so I could probably drive down and get it, or if not the shipping wouldn't be too much i'd assume. also, what all will I need to get if I buy just the motor, and how much would it all cost approx.? would it be best if I just bought a complete motorset, would that be cheaper in the longrun?

Dee,

can you email me? i have some questions regarding a motor for my 87 stanza. it's not too pretty looking and it's not fast at all so it's a perfect sleeper. yes, i use to have a 300ZX TT with mods and this stanza's CA20E is not acceptable unless you can get worth while mods for it (CA18 manifolds and turbo... hum..).

Anyways, if you can shoot me an e-mail and help me out, i'd really appreciate it.[email protected]

Hey boost_boy, in two months when you receive your shipments of those ca18det's let me know I'll take one off your hands! I'll fly down and rent a uhaul van.

But I need some prices I want it refreshed and ready for a beating. You know rings, rods, whatever needs to be upgrade. I want everything for it though. Let me know what you can't get, that I need.

Hit me up on aim if you have it. Aim: zey0r

Dee: i have an 87 stanza. i want to make it a sleeper but i really don't want to go thru the insane hassle of getting a sattle gas tank just so i can clear a drive shaft so i need a FWD CA18det. i have no preferance as to which transmission but if you can get one with a 5 spd complete, that'll be great. i really don't feel like going to a junk yard to look for parts of a manual transmission since the one by me (Shea Stadium) is a little overwhelming. thanks!

If you have an 87 stanza and it's 5 speed, you can use your existing transmission and axles, but you will need to use the long axle bracket attached to your motor or one off a pulsar. What are you going to do for wiring because I do have a motor for you right now (It's my standby motor for my G/F's car). I do have a readily available JWT ECU set up for 550cc injectors, Z32 AFM and a 3 bar map program that I can sell to you for a decent price. My friend just imported an AWD CA18DET with harness and computer, but the harness got crushed and now the kid's in trouble and want$ me to do the rewiring$ or he may opt for my set-up using a pulsar's CA18DE harness. Let me know if you're interested.

Quote »So were there any RWD motors with the awd shipment or was it a one off thing?
Zilch! And that AWD motor belong to another customer that already prepaid for it. The only thing is he wants me to do the install in a car that requires cutting and welding and he doesn't even have half the stuff needed to make this work. We'll see what's coming from one of my other friends.

Quote »dee, i think youre the last person that should be trying to sell a JWT ecu..
Some people could care less about my opinions. Bottom line is some people also think the JWT is the god of Nissan programming, so I extend my JWT ecu which is no longer in use in my cars. I've sold one already to a guy in California that was set up for the standard injectors.
