Dee, how often do you guys get motors? I don't have a problem w/ an autotragic then doing a little conversion work. I'm just curious... waiting to see what comes of this insurance thing. :)

btw CA18DET RWD motorsets? or just motors..

float, that should definately ensure that you wont have to deal with it again. good luck with it. all you need to do is come into a large amount of cash over the course of a week, like i did.

haha. 151 is for sissies and rabbits. real men drink straight up 200 proof alabama moon shine. mmmmm grain alcohol...fuggs you up waaay more for about one eighth the price! that stuff will own you. had some, you dont think itll do anything because the stuff thats done right doesnt have much of a taste. then you take 2 shots and realize it has more bite than a rabid, hungry pit bull. so if your gonna get $hitfaced, do it right the southern way!

Did I hear correct that you have a ca18 with a blown turbo for 475? I am looking for a ca18det rwd with an auto. I just picked up a new t28 ball bearing turbo oil and water cooled for 300 dollars for my new 240 with ca18et engine.

yea! We're back on topic! Thank you 240sx girl. But in answer to your question, I don't know about that motor. I know that he has a spare, but I think Aaron (ca18det boy) was looking at it.

Which spare?? I know that D is using one of the Ca's for his convertible. The other I believe is still up for grabs. Unless your talking about his 700hp, in that case you can't pry that away from him for ****. He did say something about maybe, stess maybe, getting rid of it when he hits his numbers. Other than that those are the only engines that I know about that he has. As for me I still haven't decided what I want to do. Speaking of which, hey ryan if I give you like $20 and beer can I steal some stuff from your parts car?

Quote »eh all the CA's ive seen are slow[/quote] Do you mean cars that have them are slow? All the ones I've seen are slow as well. drumma022's S14 used to have a pretty mean CA18, but he went to an SR20 and is now selling his motor. Hell, most stock SRs and RBs aren't that fast either. There aren't that many CA18 powered cars here in the U.S. that are fully developed for ball-out performance and most of that is due to people not having the money to upgrade or is just satisfied with what they have. Come to Miami and I'll show you a CA18 powered car that isn't slow by a long shot.

i dont really care if my car is rediculously fast, i just want to be able to have fun in it. im not going for sub 10 seconds in the quarter mile, i just want the car to be able to go when i need it.

and ive gotta put the hurting on my friend with the porsche 944. his timing belt snapped on him about 24k miles before it was due for replacement and so he's rebuilding the engine with new pistons, rods, getting the head ported and polished, 5 way valve job, ported and polished intake manifold, ported throttle body, and the ol' i/h/e. he thinks he will be able to take me, i havnt told him what dee and i are cooking up..haha

Not to hijack the thread but nice to see other Nico supporters around here... Was beginning to think I was one of the only ones :D Nice job Dee and Float.

After watching Dee's video spanking the WRX, I want to see that beast in person. If only i didn't live on the other side of the country...
