Axles are on the way, intake and gaskets for manifold came last night. Picking these up tonight after work:

Cluster setup in honor of broadfield anyone? We'll see... I think this will be one of my summer projects. More updates soon!

Got some stuff yesterday:

Intake:

Gaskets for Intake Manifold:

And some Defi gauges... Large Boost and Tach, and then some others to match my current ones (oil p, oil t, water t, and fuel p). I already have the oil gauges, so I am going to sell those. I want to do my own custom cluster via broadfield, but I realized that I got the wrong size large gauges:

These are the 110mm and I wanted the 80mm, so I think I am going to sell these and keep looking. Hard to find the right ones since these gauges are discontinued.

Working on the car tonight, going to try to get the intake install and oil pressure relocation done... just try to get the bay together as much as I can. Kumho screwed up my order at Discount Tire, so I have some Yokohama S drives on the way- should be here next Monday or Tuesday and then I can get the car on the ground!

Got the intake in last night:

(Don't mind the boost controller laying there, didn't mount it yet.)

And most of the GReddy filter relocation. Let's just say that my first experience with braided SS oil lines was a painful one at best  Tires came in today, so I am having them mounted to the wheels tomorrow. Axles are scheduled for delivery next wednesday. Won't have time to work on the car until sunday night, but progress should be steady through next week!

haha I know, fails. That is on the list! Gonna get the car back together and spend what time I do have this summer on the engine bay. I was thinking about making a custom setup with an aluminum reservoir. This car was so messy, it is just unbelievable... Your sig inspired me to get the kouki tails btw, looks so clean!

Trying to get $250 shipped for the boost gauge and the tach. Shoot me an email if you are interested!

Thanks! I still have so much I want to do, it gets discouraging sometimes. It will be good to have it on the ground next week!

haha, there is plenty of power to get me in trouble at the moment... don't need much more for what I will be using the car for. Not for a while, anyway

thanks man, i know yours will be clean cause the solara looked really nice. Everytime im driving and see one now its just weird to know their potential to look descent. Good luck with the rest of your build, you'll be really happy when you get to drive it and feel how its gonna handle.

haha, agreed! The roads here are hit but I am going to do my best to get this thing on the ground. The wheels will not be flush with the fenders, but there will not be any fender gap.

Make sure you run a pipe from the T on the valve cover to the inlet on the apex intake. Non vacuum setup for the valve cover rent is dumb. Make sure you run a pipe.

I'd also say pickup an oil catch can. S13 SR's don't have as nice of oil separator as the S14 SR's.

Just awesome wheel choice man. I LOVE grahm lights, always have. I'll try to snatch up a pair someday.

Your s13 is looking great man. It's so clean and not even done .

I'm not a fan of fwd toyota products but your solara was really nice, and I think I may have seen it in a magazine if you've ever been in one or had a members ride section article.

I actually have a pretty nice GReddy one that came with the car. I will shoot you a pm about how I should set up the t and the catch can, thanks for the heads up bro! I really appreciate the advice...

Yeah that was mine, it was in the reader's rides section of modified last year. Thanks for the compliments man!

Tires came today! Yokohama S-Drive 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear- thanks a lot Chris!

Just a wee bit of stretch, but nothing crazy (front):

Still waiting on my fender roller and to put the suspension together- won't be able to work on the car til tomorrow night at the soonest. Getting stoked!

Not to be rude, but that GReddy can is f'n worthless. It's just a can with an inlet and outlet. Nothing separating oil from the air.

Sell the GReddy and pick up one like mine. Same price as GReddy but actually functional.

I'll look into it. Like I said, it came on the car when I bought it, so it doesn't hurt my feelings any

Keep the Greddy can and make your own baffle to put inside it. I've done with with ebay catch cans in the past and works great.

Damon, keep me posted on the fender roller situation. If you have rent one i'll go half on it with you and we'll do both our cars together.

Thanks guys! My brother and I split a roller today, it should be here tomorrow or saturday.

I got a lot done last night, including:

-diff gasket-filled diff-mounted diff-installed axles-most of rear brakes

I was missing some stuff for the brakes on one side, so I am going to get it today. Gonna bolt the bumper down and mount the lip securely tonight hopefully! More pics tomorrow.

Got some things done yesterday... front SS brake lines, oil filter relocation, a lot of the front lip install, but not totally on yet. Sprayed undercoating the the wheel wells to freshen it up a bit, rolled the rear fenders, put the catback back on, mocked up the rear wheels and tires while I wait for coils again to check the roll, repainted the hatch and got it a lot glossier.

Waiting on coils and it will be on the ground and out of the garage!! Hopefully by sunday, depending on when the coilovers get here.

nice build. ive got that same intake manifold as you and if you use anything besides the stock fuel rail it sucks! its the first gen mani and the mounting points for the fuel rail dont work with any aftermarket rails. not even GReddy ones. lol
