Love the build though!
Hah welcome to NICO!!!

What you do is edit your post then click subscribe in one of the check boxes in the blue section - then it emails you everytime someone posts in the thread. :bigthumb:

Ok guys its time I update the thread! It is currently raining so were pretty slow so I was able to go snap some pictures hope you guys enjoy.

First here is an over head view from a ladder. :gapteeth:

Ok so the suspension is almost completely bolted up. Even the SPL hicas delete. Only thing left is the SPL front sway bar endlinks.

Plenum is chromed along with balance tube, radiator pipes, fuel hardline, cas bracket.

Koyo Radiator is installed but not completely because I'm waiting on some new bushings. It has one bracket on just to keep it in place.

None of the piping is fully secured except the ASH planar kit. I'm going to blow it out before we tighten it all up.

I bought a New OEM TT fan and fan clutch - my fan blade had the normal heat cracks due to age.

My timing covers are smoothed OEM units (thanks to Tony and his words of wisdom) then I had a body shop paint them with QAB (370z Pearl white). I had a hard time getting good pics of the chrome pieces and of the timing covers to really showcase them correctly, I have a good camera but I'm not a photographer. But I do have a couple friends majoring in photography so I'll have one of them snap some pics once I'm driving her again - maybe they will be able to get the right exposure. :gotme

My whole car will be painted QAB once I get the Jspec front - engine bay will remain gold.

As some of you may remember I had bought the Powertrix hicas delete... I didn't like it so I sold that and accepted my losses and bought the SPL unit. I'm in love with the SPL suspension components... They are just so beautifully crafted and designed.. I give them nothing short of an A+ review.

HICAS is completely eliminated - NA pump that I rebuilt (which I'm nervous about), NA resivior, NA bracket ect...

The picture with the wires exposed next to the brake rotors is showing the beginning of the PTU relocate.

I'm still waiting on some more bolts to come in for the timing covers.

Brakes are still stock for now. I'm leaning towards Brembo's.

Questions, comments are all welcome!

-Mark

I like the originality of the gold engine bay, plays off the chrome/white well. So far so good!

Well sir, you've got another person to sign up to NICO just to comment on your build thread.

Ive seen A LOT of build threads of all different cars. Some awesome, some not so much. Your build thread? Awesome. Very well detailed with some killer parts to boot. Ive been following this for awhile, I just like it too much to not comment.

Gives me a nice little push to get my NA/AUTO -> TT/5spd swap going (well, more like get out their and find a car to rip into)

Update! We might be able to start it up next Saturday. I'll type up some details later.

The reason why the radiator and condenser are now out is because I had to install the power steering hard line that runs along the core support under the AC fan motor.
