another shot from the rear... in this photo you can see the Blitz NUR SPEC exhaust... tires are Victoracer V700's, used at one track event, hence no tread pattern left =)

front wheels... 225/45's on 17" x 8" rims... had to use a H&R 10mm spacer to fit the 300zx calipers.

heat wrapping alot of stuff... not really necessary for the stock peashooter but when I blow my turbo and upgrade to a bigger one it will be nice that have that already done and not worry about boiling my brake/steering fluid during long track sessions.

not sure to be honest with you.. I havent reseached sr20det turbo options to much.

I dont want too much HP/lag.... I need all the rpm I can use, throttle response and quick spool is essential. If I get 350-400rwhp in this thing I would be happy, dont know how much lag that would create. Once the stock turbo starts giving out I'll look into it more =)

Damn, nice job. You make me jelous, about 2-3 more weeks before my sr is done... And i will have to see how much snow we are going to have to see if i will even drive the car right away. Quick question, what 300 zx calipers you get 26 mill, or 30 mill? would the 26's fit without the wheel spacers, and how much and where did you get the 10 mm wheel spacers from? thanks.

Dont really know about the fitment issue.. I got the TT 30mm brakes.. dont know about the N/A 26mm brakes.

Once you have the brakes on and try to fit your rims you will know. If they fit, great... but if they dont just go and get some spacers.

I didnt get any special prices on my spacers... just get them from any H&R authorized retailer. If I remember right, the ki, includes spacers and studs for around $100.

ha ha.... I waited 3 months for that damn Blitz oil cooler, then when I got it I realized that the Blitz shipping dude in Japan put in the wrong oil block sandwich/adapter plate... and that was the main piece of the kit that made it so desirable to me. Ended up having to take it to my machine shop guy... now it fits fine.

The core is awsome.... big fat fins to cool the heavy oil =)

I really tried to put **** on this car that was pretty hard to find.... but now the jdm thing is getting so popular everyone is importing **** from Japan.

Gonna primer the car today, I hate that poopy burgundy color.

btw - I wish had the cash for a bigger turbo/system..... maybe in 6 months...

Nils.. your car looks almost as good now as it did a few weeks ago in person ;)

I talked to a guy from Motorex today, and he said that the GT-RS is probably the best application for good HP numbers, with the least amount of lag. You might want to give that some thought. Plus, IIRC, it's the same flange as our T2small.

Anyway, car looks great. And since I let you drive my car, I get to drive yours when I'm in Vegas again, MUAHAHAHA. And you didn't think I had ulterior motives for making you drive my car eh? LOL. j/k man.

J-Spec Tuner - Just primering the car right now. Dont have cash for the paint job right now. Car will remain drak grey untill I have the funds to paint it a dark metallic blue. The s15 T28 turbo is definitly a candidate, seems like a good deal for the money.

Ryan - Ha Ha.. I knew it.. bastard ;) ...j/kSeriously though, I wouldnt mind letting you take the car around the block =)I cleaned up the garage real good.. it was a BIG mess when you came by, and trust me... the car looks 100 times better on the ground with wheels on. I was so used to having the car lifted (3-4 months) that when we put her down she looked like a different car =)

I'll definitly look into the GT-RS, more info please... what exactly is it?

turboex - Those are Volk GT-N rims...
