It's called primer! Primer is primer..if you don't know what that is then take an autobody class. Primer is the Pre-Layer that helps paint stick to the car. It also comes in many colors.

Very nice! Well if there's one wheel color that looks ok with burgundy, its gold. What offset were the wheels? From this experience what offset would you recommend? I have an s14 with coilovers and will soon have 300zx brakes and am trying to find out what offsets I want. Thanks

but with black rims it looks like you dont have rims, like a cool "black hole" effect. Unless you have three piece black rims with fat polished lips. Its the anti-bling!...kinda like grey primer!

the offsets are mentioned in an earlier post.... lol.. somewhere in the 10 pages ;)

Are you going to hit the road course at all or is this for mainly street use?

Reason I am asking is because the rear wheels get *really* close to the rear coilovers during extremely hard cornering, but, you wont corner the car that hard unless you are running v700's on a sticky road course =)

Great rims very happy with them.. got a set of 300zx rims on the way to use as beaters.

Silviagirl79 - Once I get 240racing.com up and running you'll see plenty of pics =)

btw - black rims look really good, however, they tend to look smaller than they really are though since black does not show light aswell as other colors/finishes.

I would eventually like to road race, but its primarily for street use, although I have been known to pretend to drift (as much as my soon-to-be-gone-no-upper-end KA will alow me to).Yeah sorry for asking the same question as like ten other people. I actually didn't even realize there were so many pages until after I posted. Still, thanks for the additional real-world info!

Hey Nils, I am confused. A couple of your post point out that the front rims are 8", and the post where you tell us your offset says they are 9". So which one is it?

Haha tsk tsk tsk Nils :)

But seriously dude. Your car is very cool. I wouldn't mind having an S14 with the SR20 swap but that's just one of many cars I wouldn't mind having in my driveway...

last night I hit a big rock and it completely smashed my blitz fmic =(

Hopefully it wont take too long to get a custom made IC made..... at this point the car is undriveable. There might be some suspension damage aswell, but I need to check the car over and see what I find.

lol... I dont have fans, we are all fans of the car =)
