Just got off the phone with Frank as well, pictures should be up within 48 hours.

For $161, you'd be hard-pressed to find a good S13 dash that's not ready to crack.

Hell, I just sent $100 on a "uncracked" dash a month ago for another car I was working on - Guess what happened during installation?

I cracked it.

Make SURE you tell them you're calling from NICO to get the special pricing!!!!

my dash just cracked the other day. i was really upset. how exactly do these things work? is it something that you put over the dash itself? never heard of this before.

Yea, I got a pretty large crack on mine and I'm wondering if this would be worth it...money is tight for me. I was just out today experimenting with a kind of black sealant to see if it'd fill the crack.

Think of it like this- The vinyl skin on your dash eventually dries out & cracks. With this overlay, It's a thicker skin that's rigid, once installed on, your dash looks brand new, & WILL NOT CRACK! Kind of like a contact lens for your dash.

THIS IS NOT A GHEY COVER!

We need everyone that got on the buy list awhile back to call Coverlay, They are ready!!!

It's not like a dash sticker/cover type thing, is it? Cause 136 would seem really high for such a simple thing.

Edito: Checking their site ftw. http://www.coverlaymfg.com/index.php?crn=228 I might actually be interested, but I really would need to see this installed first.

Pics will be up soon. All you do is apply a adheisive to your dash surface, then apply the new rigid skin. (like a contact lens) =new dash

When you see a pic of this, It will totally make sense. I will do a write up soon with pics, before & after. You WILL be horny after you see this!

This sounds very intriguing, especially with gauge pods in it.. Again is this an overlay? or is this a dash replacement, requiring me to pull the entire dash apart gauges and all?

Overlay, looks kinda like:

from what I can understand. Still don't get why the S13 dash is $14 more than the other dashes they have. Maybe because it's new/limited amount?

Dash removal is not mandatory. What i meant by dash pods is upon request, they can mold in holes for aftermarket gauges(very trick looking BTW) wherever you want. Custom colors, even custom designs.

I dont wan't to sound like a whiner or the thorn in your side, but I'm quickly getting frustrated with the vague nature of this product. If you have installation instructions post those. That way I can have a definite answer.

Read my last post. That's what they look like. You put an adhesive over your current dash, and just slip the dash overlay on. Voila!Although there might be more to it, such as making the dash look flush, seamless etc

I'm not trying to start an argument. If you want one go fight with some E-thug. I'm trying to get info. If you aren't the seller or affiliated with them I'm uninterested in what you have to say.

I know in the previous thread I think people were talking about oem color covers? Will they be offering that? I'd like to get a blue one if it matches the original dash color.

Not trying to start one either, just trying to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. Sorry if I came off as condescending

This is great news. Too bad I'm in the process of moving. I'll definitely give coverlay a call in about a week or two.
