Well done every body who came out the FWD Face Off!

Congrats to Ian, he took his back-to-back 1st place result and is quickly becoming the dominate force in the GT5 track days. Alms has fell off but can he redeem him self this weekend? Will Biggie finally crack a the 2nd place or better finish? Will RCA finally take the coveted 1st place trophy? Can't wait to find out!

Results from last week:

As for next race...

Hey guys, I sent some friend requests out from the users on this thread...I've been playing GT5 for a month now. Looking for some online fun!

The best car I have is a Toyota 88C-V. I'm only lv 23 for A-spec and lv 22 for B-spec...almost have enough $$ for the Gran Turismo F1 for sale in the online market. Hopefully, I'll have the level and cash before it goes away.

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself.

Awesome! Well the details of this weekends race is above (make sure to sign up and check out the rules), also you should put up your B-Spec drivers for online sharing. It's a great way to ear extra cash and XP. Also I don't think you sent me a friend request cabrita309.

That series was a bunch of crap lol, jk. I think I just chose the wrong car. It felt good during practice but wasnt goo enough. It was a Mitsubishi FTO btw. Shoulda just went with the Honda VTAK type R, owell

So RCA is that the third time in a row you've gotten 2nd overall? what luck you have.

Yup. Just make sure you meet the HP, weight and PP ratings.

EDIT:
Some questions...
- Thoughts on raising the PP to 500 from 490.
  • I originally created the PP requirement based on the WRC cars in GT5, but after looking for an original car to use I quickly realized how difficult it is to fall with in the restrictions using a cars outside of the WRC list. Your thoughts?
- Do you guy want to race this weekend or next?
  • It seems that not many people will be able to make it and was just wondering if it should be held off 1 week.

Prizes:
- 1st Place:
  • Suzuki Escudo Dirt Trial Car '98 (1050hp /738ft-lbs / 800kg
- 2nd Place:
  • Level 21 Car Ticket
- 3rd Place:
  • Parts ~100,000 credits in parts

The Type R worked out well, but the torqueless wonder suffered a little out of the corners. Though it made up for it with braking.

You would have done much better at Autumn Ring had I not bumped you in the first corner halfway through the race. I had a momentary lapse in attention with all the people swerving around in front of me. You got after the brakes sooner than I expected, and I was already right on your butt. For that, I apologize. It doesnt help that I will always be a trail braker at heart. I will have to keep that in mind in the future.

Im pretty busy this weekend, so I wont be able to make it unless we do it late Sunday evening.

O yeah its all good fun. I felt like I had to brake earlier than everyone else and the car was alittle loose while braking but had too much understeer even for a FWD car thru turns. That's another reason why I was unsure about the Type R, the wakass 120ft lbs. I thought that would have a big impact overall. Owell, I have the perfect car for this weeks race if I can make it. I wont pick the off the wall car this time.

Wow, sorry about that Red, I didn't even realize that was sarcasm. :frown:

Yeah I am thinking any time after 6pm on Sunday.

"PNF, why have bad schedule!"

alms24sebring wrote:Owell, I have the perfect car for this weeks race if I can make it.
You better make it. We need all the help we can get holding back Ian from a 3rd ( :squint: ) 1st place finish in a row. I am tired of sending him cars. :gapteeth: And for the record I do realize that I haven't sent any Prizes out from last weeks races. I have had some trades lined up so I will hope to send them tonight.

So over all you guys are cool with having it this weekend, right?
