Honestly, I think black is probably one of the best looking car colors to go with...but keep it mind it is a high maintenance paint color as well. Swirl marks, scratches, dents, and dust/dirt show up
very easily.
With the amount of work you are putting into this, I can only assume that you are probably going to be somewhat meticulous about this car (I can't imagine why not lol). If you do pay a lot of attention to detail, then I would say make it easy on yourself and go with the blue (or whatever other colors that appeals to you).
