Well the gray one is for sale..... Gotta hang onto my red one and the white one.... since the red one has all my nice parts and the white one runs Found my camera but it got 2 dark to tell what it looks like so I'll have pics up another day prob tomorrow since I'm not doing anything....

Update time....

Well here's the story behind the new ride... It's an 89 sohc with 155k miles on her. She was owned by a mexican family here in my town.... I saw it drive by one day and decided to chase it down in the racecourt. So yes... I chased a mexican down for this car lol!





It needs a little work and she'll be ok... Duck-tape was the mexican's doin so don't flame me for that! lol It also needs an exhaust put on but I've got one ready for it



It was oober cold out when I was putting the suspension/5 lug swap/brakes on but here she is again finally sitting on the ground!

Got it for 500 bucks And yea I own most of the 240's in my town. The only other one's are in the junkyard and and old lady won't sell me the black one that sit's in her garage

The old lady was a prick! but One day she won't be around so Mybe I'll snatch it up then lol

Not quite sure what I want to do with the 3 that I have now... but I'm considering puttin a roll cage in the red one this spring. I also picked up a dohc blown motor for dirt and all the parts I need for a running motor. Just gotta put it all together.

hmm sounds good, what parts are you looking for? i have a good pignose front carpet, vlsd, lots of interior parts and many other pieces off of my cars. let me know if theres something in particular you want, we can work something out

vlsd aye? hmmmm whats up with it? more info plz lol are they 5 bolt axle's or 6 and would I need a set of 5 bolt axle's since I still have the stock open diff with the 6 bolts?

I'm looking for turbo parts for my red one really... I'd trade the gray shell for a complete t3/t4 setup but I haven't found anyone that needs that clean of a shell that has any turbo parts

the vlsd is from a 94 q45. its just the viscous unit itself and would have to be swapped in the stock diff housing, but that should just go right in, im not sure though

Well I finally got the rest of my pictures uploaded

Here's some of the suspension parts that I have on the red 240 now

The white one is pretty clean on the inside with an uncracked black dash!

The engine bay is a complete disaster area...

But IT RUNS! lol I have no Idead what that orange crap is my guess is it's rust but I'm not sure yet I've not had time to inspect it.... I've only been driving it to work and playin in the snow with it lol

Almost forgot what it was like driving a rwd car in the snow lol.

Good news and bad news.... Sold the white one! But I get to pull the uncracked dash out this spring and swap it for my dash in my red one. I may have found a new vert... We'll see what happens lol Back to the ole trusty station wagon DD...

Yea I sold both the white one and the gray one before the snow hit.... Now I've got a bunch of parts for my red one but I can't even get to it cuz there's a foot of snow on top of it! As far as the rattle can job.... It was whatever walmart was selling.... I think it's rustoleum not sure tho

Wow.... I haven't been on nico in a min.... Well a LOT has been going on lately....

There was an issue with the title for the gray one. Pretty much long story short.... The title got sent through the wash in my jacket and I've been trying to track the guy that sold it to me down to file for a lost title.

So since I owe kyle a car with a title and ben went through all this trouble I've decided to tear the red one apart..... yes thats right.... She's getting torn apart after everything I've already done to it

There is a reason tho....

Kyle sold me his 93 vert which was bone stock that needed lots of love....

So being the mad man that I am... I yanked the auto crap out and swapped it to a 5 speed. Was running good for about 12 hrs

Then I'm cruisin along and all of a sudden when I go to change gears it sounded like the throwout bearing blew apart. Well I limped it back home and by the time I pulled up to my house it sounded more like a spun rod bearing. Had a slight knock to it....

Needless to say I was pretty mad!

Thats when I decided to tear into the red one..... I couldn't find my camera at this time so I don't have any pictures of all the mayhem

I pulled the stock dohc ka out of the vert and scrubbed the engine bay for hours that night. By morning - pulled an all nighter - The fresh dohc that was in the red 240 was pulled out and dropped into the vert

Here's a pic my friend took after we bolted it in place. Still finishing up some things tho. I bought a new timing chain kit for it and It's just waiting on me to have a few days off work to finish it up.

wow i cant keep track of what car you are on all the time, you switch platforms all the time....

i wish i could find another 240 to work on in addition to my current, but all the deals seem to be swept up by my lanc friends..... the ones around here are mostly complete garbage or no for sale...

I have MAD respect for you fixing up every s13 in your town so they stay out of the junkyards! This is what I wish to do but I probably won't have as much time.Cool thread man. I think the red hatch is so clean and fresh looking. Even if it has konig rims. A dd wheel functions just fine and that's all that needs to happen.

Not every 240 I get stay's out of the junkyard.... Sold the maroon one to kyle and He scrapped it out but It didn't need to be on the road anymore with all the rust that it had. And the wheels that are on the red hatch aren't even worthy of being konig's They're just some wheels I bought for 100 bucks from a junkyard and painted em.

It's kinda crazy all the 240's I've had here in the last year.... I'll always love the s13 hatch but I fell in love with the vert when I drove it as a 5 speed with the top down Never mind the fact that it was freezin balls out!

I just got off work and it's payday.... AND I found my camera.... So...... I'll have an update either later today or tomorrow depending on what all I get done. I'm waiting on kyle to bring me a few parts for the vert and still have to swap the suspension over to the vert but my goal for today is just to get everything finished up on my motor and hopefully fire it up! Unfortunately I have to work tonight and my g/f wants to hang out and go shopping

So I'm not real sure how much I'll get done on no sleep. Maybe I'll just stay up all day and then go to work & sleep in the break room lol

its ok, one car is enough of a money pit for me..... theres only one other car i'd want locally in york, its a completely stock piggy, driven by a very attractive girl i dont think she likes the car tho

My lil secret...

Lots to updat on the vert's status... It was running great but wouldn't hold an idle. Then I was crusin with a group of s13's in town and pulled up to a stop light an heard a slight knock. So I brought it home wich was 3 block's away. I think I spun a rod bearing cuz thats what it sounds like but I know my oil pressure dropped right before it started knocking So I think the oil pump went out cuz I wasn't even getting on it just crusin.

Well this happened couple days ago. I think it was last weekend but ne who... on with the cell pic's my camera disapeared once again right when I needed it

I have worked out yet another amazing deal with kyle... Selling him the red shell but I get to pull off my 5 lug swap yet again and put it on the vert

I also did some trading and got my racing seats for it... and sold the system I had in it. Plus I just sent my spare block to the machine shop lots going on with my car

Enough talk...













Still have a lot to do today... Also put these bad boy's in...

Got rid of the red one yesterday but Like I said way more to come on the vert... Kyle brought me the doors of the old maroon 240 so they're gonna make their way onto the vert
