My buddy got one of the new STI's, it is awesome, I cant believe how strong the car is...at full throttle the tires balance on the edge of slipping.

HEY CAMERON IF IIRC WHATS THE LAST THING YOU SAID TO ME AFTER I BOUGHT THE MOUNTS? OHH YEAH "IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS CALL ME DON'T GO POSTING ON NICO".

WHATS THE FIRST THING I DID? CALLED YOU! AND WHAT DID YOU DO? "OH ITS NOT MY PROBLEM CALL MIKE.".

THATS IS THE WHOLE REASON FOR THIS..... YOU KNOW THERE IS A THING IN BUSINESS CALLED THE CUSTOMERS ALWAYS RIGHT, AND I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH YOU AND I JUST WANTED A REFUND SO I COULD PURCHASE SOMETHING ELSE FROM YOU BUT NOW THAT I REALIZED THAT ONCE YOU HAD MY MONEY YOU DIDN'T NEED ME ANYMORE..... WELL, ITS ALL CHANGED.

Not to be off topic, but I'm on the same boat as you Project. Except I never got to talk to Cameron either by phone or email. After I said "refund my money"...nothing.

I'm not glad that he's funding one of his projects with my money when I could be funding my swap with my own money.

Sorry to be off topic!

Oh, and it's not like he has 6 240's that he uses as toys. They are all cars that are bought to be sold (usually with a new engine). They MAKE him money.

all while he continues to owe people money... and hang up on their phone calls, and pass the buck to other people when something goes wrong... honestly man, why would you even affiliate yourself with him?

oh well... the saga shall continue, and i will never be surprised with the new episodes of "camerons world" ...

I always thought that an automotive forum is for the exchange of knowledge and information between people that share the same interests. What a better environment than this forum to inform Nissan enthusiasts of a good or bad experience with a vendor that supplies custom products. I’m very disappointed that Project and Night can’t settle this matter without any personal attacks on each other. I personally don’t need to know what both of these two feel about each other on a personal level, I just what to know if the motor mounts work as advertised or not and if Project’s buying experience is something that he would do again. Before I spend the amount of money I will need to spend on my project I will do all the research possible. This will include the good and bad experiences with vendors because I will soon be dealing with the same vendors and would really like to know what I’m getting into. What also really concerns me is the possible censorship of this important information to the NICO members due to the fact that Night is a NICO sponsor. If that censorship takes place due to the exchange, on a non-personal level, of information, then NICO has failed its members in my eyes. No one on this board should ever disparage someone else’s character in a public forum. If you have personal issues with someone take it off the board. Remember that we all have the same interests in Nissans and this forum is for the exchange of information on the cars and not our thoughts of the other members. This is just my opinion and felt the need to post it, and maybe this post will stay on track and not get personal.

I associate myself with him because I have the pleasure of knowing him well, and knowing what actually goes on rather than just hearing one side of the story. I've seen the work he has done, and I've been around while he was trying desperatly to get money to get the engines that he owed people when he got screwed by HIS (former) supplier. I KNOW he's not trying to screw people. I also see this side of the story and see what crap is thrown around by kids eager to accept that people are doing their bests to screw them in life. As far as xjon's refund goes, I don't know why you haven't gotten one yet. He was talking about needing to get that taken care of when I was there a week ago, but I know he hasn't spent much time out of the shop lately (not necessarilly and excuse, but a reason), and has a newborn. If it was the clutch that xjon was returning, I'm not sure why, the thing is beautiful.

Overall, I think the personal conversations regarding this subject need to cease on the forum. Not only is your comment insulting to him, but to me as well, and I don't appreciate it. That's not what this place is for, it's for cars....Fast cars preferably :D

Very much agreed. I come here for the cars, engines, and information regarding them... NOT for my nightly drama fix. I can surely find that elsewhere if I ever desire it.

TWC- unfortunately, without the mud slinging between the members and vendor, your search for potential vendors will do you no good. I guess it's one of those "can't live with it, can't live without it".

You can only hope that it will be resolved in a business like fasion and not resort to getting personal. I know through experience that it never works and just creates more problems with everyone that witnesses it. Especially in a public forum, it make the people involved want to save face instead of resolving the problem. Just an opinion.

No not really lol. I'm joining the Anit Knight movement now. it's been more than 3weeks goin onto 4 now and i still haven't got my mounts. The check has been cashed and I get a email last week saying it will be here in 2 days. After the 2 days I wait one more and email him for the Tracking #. hmmm no reply yet, and I can tell getting a refund from this guy is next imposiable to do. I tried to give me a chance but that will be the last time I do anything like that lol.

Well I really should blame myself for this crap tho. He dosen't use paypal (now I understand why) and he dosen't have a credit card machine. All clues that I ignored in my rush to finish my car. Only thing that brings a smile to my face is to know his "Shop" won't be open much longer. I have seen way too many people like him come and go. Just a notice for all those other people who are planning on goin RB to do a search. Damn he is about 400miles from me too. ;)

I did the same thing. Rush and ignored! Good prices, everything available, good guy on the phone. Too good to be true.

Sorry yellow.

THE ENGINE MOUNTS ARE RIGHT BUT YOU WILL NEED TO MANUFACTURE A TRANS CROSSMEMBER. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU BUT JUST TRY AND GET A REFUND OR CONTACT MIKE DIRECTLY.
