I agree, I like turtles too.

First off, retake 3rd grade grammar. It kind of takes away from your argument of being intelligent.

But really, have you gotten behind the wheel and experienced any kind of high performance driving? Or is all this just "wishful thinking" of what you think is going to happen in the future? Maybe you should acquire the car first.

PS. No one really cares what engine you're going to use. Most of the dudes here have been around the block MANY times and heard your kind of story even more. No one is going to really pay attention until you start DOING, instead of telling.
Well all joking aside, i have beaten gran turismo 3&4 with all the golden trophies and all licenses. I have also kicked some major a** with my s13 in need for speed underground which i tricked out with 5 star areo. It had a hood scoop! So i have indeed experienced high performance driving.

Also i am not going to go back and correct your grammar, but it really isn't that much better than mine.

LMFAO! Watch out, we have the next Jackie Stewart here. Too bad Logitech doesn't make cars.

Uh,... that's impressive. Well, I won at Mario Kart, so I guess that makes me qualified to start out side row one in the next Formula One race... :chuckle:

We do have a NICO forum aimed specifically at Drifting.

I believe Clubloose has free membership, but their events cost money. I think they host some events at Englishtown (NJ). They require updated helmets, your car must pass their tech inspection, plus you supply your own tires. You also have to get your car home if something breaks (which is a strong possibility if you drift a lot) As a 17 yr old high school kid, do you have the money to throw at it? Drifting is an expensive hobby.

Not an unreasonable idea considering they're giving away seats at HRT :dblthumb: If you hop on a plane now, you could be in Hungary in time to get some sleep and then head to Free Practice 1.

That would be awesome, but I'm afraid lmarcucci7's impressive GT3-4 computer prowess, his demonstrated expertise stepping on the gas pedal of his intimidating S13 a few times (even beating a car once with a hood scoop?) plus a full year of actual driving, makes him far more qualified than me.

Yes, but you have actual seat time being a rolling chicane! That's all the HRT cars have been anyway. All you have to do is undercut Bruno Senna or Karun in price and you're in there.

LOL! ;) I'd do it for half the price. Unfortunately I'm too far down the racer food chain. But I think I could be more competitive if F1 suddenly went back to the early 60's formulas, as in manual gearboxes without synchros (insert Tim Allen grunts).

How do I say this without sounding like a d!ck.

STOP TALKING.

I was going to stay out of this, but a comment like that elicits a response. You know absolutely NOTHING about high performance driving. NOTHING.

All the games in the world wont make you a good driver. A simulation can help you learn lines, and stratigy, but it does nothing for car control which is more important than anything else. Fast drivers dont consciously try to control the car, its all muscle memory. The only way to do this is, is years of practice.

Take it from me, I have logged a few track hours, a few auto cross hours, lots of rally cross hours, and about 10 times all of those practising on paved and gravel roads on private land, and I have just scratched the surface of my own potential.

You are young and cocky and its going to get you in trouble. Shut your mouth, take a step back, and think before you speak.
