Also, something needs to be changed with the color layout or like the font or something. I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason I find it really hard to browse through the threads and just.....read them.

Idk I probably sound weird. Does anyone else feel the same? :?

I do miss the paper clip on the threads to let you know if the thread had pictures.

I think some indication that the thread is worth looking at.

Please please!! One stinky forum layout that is PLAIN. NO funky colors, no gray or colorful backgrounds. Just simple simple. And it would be awesome to get rid of the top banner. The one that has "user profile/faq/articles-reviews/etc" in it. The one above the forum tree links. I would love to be able to turn it off. Some of the links in it now auto-drop down which is nasty. There is nothing useful for me in that bar that I can't do on the right side control panel links (which I like).

I hate complex flashy crap. i have no problem with advertising banners like the one below the forum tree links. I just would love the option to turn off the top main bar (with an alternate layout would be perfect) since there really isn't anything useful on it that can't be gotten to by the main forum root.

KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid. Look at that forum I linked to earlier in this thread for a perfect example of what a easy to navigate forum should look like.

Pretty dumb to take time out to tell me that you are forwarding me to the thread, it will be pretty obvious when I am forward to the thread.
Agreed. I am all over getting rid of that... gimme a bit.

Everything is really confusing, slow and Is difficult to understand. I think the old nico was good and easy to use. At least make it like the old nico or something easy to use and less bright.
BTW: The new smilies are not that cool.

I like how it lets you know if there has been a new post to the thread, while you are typing a response yourself.

Not a productive or helpful post. Let's stick to specific suggestions, please, rather than generic complaints.

It's far from "slow", and "difficult to understand" doesn't help us.

Did you want the pic size limited?

I tried to post one and it gave me this...
"Your images may only be up to 500 pixels high.
Your images may only be up to 500 pixels wide."

Yes.

That way, you don't post a 2800-px wide pic and blow up the screen.

We're looking for a better solution tho, such as an auto-resize.

BTW, where the hell's all our phpBB gurus? You guys are counting on my old a$$?

Yeah, that's kinda tiny, especially if you want to post pictures with great details. It be nice for them to be scripted that would shrink them, and if a user clicks on it will open it in separate window to view it in full ( or more complicated enlarge it)

Auto resize sounds like a good idea.
I just resized that pic in photobucket myself... wasn't too hard

don't know if this has been mentioned in here (didn't read the whole thread). it would be nice if people's usernames were above their avatars like the old nico (and most other forums). not a "fix" i guess but a suggestion. unless that change comes with new themes or something idk.

still getting used to everything :D

Kind of late to this thread, now's when I finally got a chance to get on :( . I'm lovin the new look Greg and I know it's just gonna get better with time. I know this has most likely already been discussed but the only complain I've got is the bright default NICO layout. The dark format from the old layout was a lot easier on the eyes, but I know you guys are still working on things so no biggie.

New NICO, I likes :D

nice, the save button was getting me every time!

edit: just tried a 640x360 image, it didn't like it. Said "Your images may only be up to 500 pixels high." with said dimensions. Completely doesn't make sense for 360 pixel height.. here's sample image being tested http://i44.tinypic.com/mrxt0p.jpg

Whenever I want to go back to general chat, the "car specific sites" tab drops down and I almost click on the 240 forums. Kind of an annoyance.

I dont meant to bombard you guys with problems. :P

Do you guys know if we will ever be able to get our old smilies back?

Quick Reply=AWESOME addition.

If things were just a bit more seperated, such as in each post box [the white area] it says the title of their post (Re: What needs to be fixed?), then directly underneath "by mRodiek>>14 apr 2010", then the reply. Its too much and there is no seperation between each line.

Are custom titles coming back?
