Also the scroll for the full editor rarely ever works like it should. It still skips around or doesn't move at all.

Well 90% of the time I click the reply button it is because I am using the "Img, URL or youtube" buttons. It would be nice if I could use them with needing to load a whole new page.

Several reasons.

Bad connection, massive network traffic, or p0rn.

Most likely p0rn.

Mods are trying to keep the p0rn to a minimum tho. those HD vids do take a bunch of bandwidth.

Some of the threads still explode and get cut in half when you scroll through them. Check out 94_240sx's vert build:

94-240sx-vert-pics-t229320-210.html

I also miss the little thumbnails next to the thread title that told you if it had pictures or not

No p0rn allowed on thew work computers.

Seriously, we have a great FiOS connection here that never has any less than 30 down and 15 up, has less than 5 computers on it at any given time that aren't on when I'm working.
Often I have to sit and wait for NICO to load for up to 1 minute! And this isn't just here on this connection, either. The same on my Verizon data air card (although MUCH slower) and at my bosses place.

I think you all have some sort of software that you need in order to get NICO fast or something.

THIS. Not gonna lie, I used to decide whether or not to look at a thread based on if it had the picture icon. Now I have to manually look to see if a build thread has pictures. Such an inconvenience!

Does anyone else have a bar that runs across the bottom of their nico pages with the little green alien/insect face on the right side? Well, the damn thing has started to play videos on the youtube button anytime I open a tab/window with nico in it, so my question is how do I make that bar go away and never come back?

It was actually a pretty cool function, a navigational aide that incorporates relevant ads and "intelligent" search results. However, it had a glitch, and until that glitch is addressed, it'll be on hold.

One of the perks (and drawbacks) of being one of the larger automotive-related forums is that we get to test new stuff before it's released to the wider web audience.

Got an answer on that.

Short answer, not likely to happen. Requires a script that can scan each thread in real time for evidence of included pictures. Easily done on a smaller site, but not so simple on a site this size.

We had it previously, but the difference was, those pics were attachments, rather than coded into your posts. Attachments are a resource hog as well... It's a fine line between offering lots of features and paying exorbitant amounts for bandwidth and hosting.

Sorry homey. Know what I miss? I miss having you on staff. :)
