I LIKE the edit button timer. Prevents idiots from editing their posts a day or whatever later after they have been flamed badly.

I would rather see a post edited to add information then see someone post 8 times in a row.

Any one else super annoyed at this screen  :
http://imgur.com/4FINT.png
Is there a way to stop it from popping up?

We are working on making this go away
We'll do this at a slow time, just in case it breaks something important.

But seriously, you know what feature I absolutley LOVE...
http://imgur.com/lpRIZ.png
It actually stopped me from posting to show me that something new has been posted.

ALSO, will NICO not have a spell check feature any more? I definitly need it.
I do alot of posting at school and what ever version of Explorer they use doesn't have spell check built in.

Yeah, was actually just thinking about that but wasn't gonna bother posting it.

Pretty dumb to take time out to tell me that you are forwarding me to the thread, it will be pretty obvious when I am forward to the thread.

I agree. Especially projects broken in multiple threads to allow ease of reading and individual topics. The user can update a single thread to keep all the links of the threads in one place.

Once everyone posts, you have to click through all the pages to get the updates, whereas the OP can keep it all on the first post.

BTW.. the online banner is very very shy, thanks to the quote button.

One of the cool features of FireNICO, (on top of being able to jump to my watched topics and jumping straight to front page of the forums) was the post counter on the bottom of each page which let you see how many posts were left until the next page started. Any way we can get something like that here, I really like knowing that I'm the last post on a page so I know to go to the next page to see any posts after mine.

OK, some more issues that I found while browsing...
There is somthing wrong with the scrolling feature in PMs and regular posts...

When in collapse mode, it shows all the posts like it is suppose to in expanded mode. But when you scroll down in collapse mode, the old comments appear over the current post you are writing. Kind of annoying because if you scroll with a mouse wheel then as soon as your pointer lands in the collapse mode area, it starts sending the comments upwards.

The engine links on the right side doesn't forward to the correct places, it just takes me to the main forum page.

I miss this as well.

The signatures are all messed up too.

No more post counts. That was a FireNICO thing.

When you try to edit them it just gives you plain text. No HTML code. So the Flickr link in my sig would normally be [*b][*url=blahblahblah]flick[*/color*]r[*/color*][/url*][*/b] minus the stars. When I go to edit it it just says "flickr" with no code.

The board colors are being changed to look like NICO. Right now there are too many cooks in the kitchen so I'm not making changes at the moment. Things will be tweaked for a while until everything is right.

As far as other schemes, I really have no plans to build any. Kinda up to Greg.

New layout - not that big of the deal. I second the edit post thing needs to be fixed, I don't know if it's in there - the only thing that comes up when I post is an X to delete my post :-/.

Also is there no subscribed thread thing in this new forum software? I can't seem to find it. I mean I have a section that works that says My Posts which works but I'd rather have a seperate section so I can keep track of certain threads rather than all the random ones I answer lol.
OB1 is working on this. This is a pretty big deal. We'll probably pull the trigger in the middle of the night in case it breaks something.

Also something really stupid - the search works fine if you go into it in from the forum. However, the top SEARCH button doesn't work - the link is dead - that should be an uber easy fix ;).

Nope, they need to have it enabled. You should be able to PM me, for example.

yea, when I view stuff, the pics and sigs are being cut off by the side bar. Zooming out on my browser fixes this, but then the words are all small

Not really a "fix" but I think the quick reply button should:

- Be on the top

- Open a whole new window so you can browse the thread while you type your reply.
