Hi everyone,

What have you done to upgrade your Pathy to a new look? :) I would like to hear your experience

Hear are a few shots of my baby: 4300K bi-xenon HID, LED running lights, Osram Nightbreaker fogs, DVD Player + back up camera, Auto dimming rearview mirror, Super Bright LED dome lights, chrome exhaust tip...

Thanks. Those fogs are actually led running lights. They came with brackets to mount on the bumper

Yea what he said! Those lights look great, I'd like to install them on my new car and +1 to the backup camera recommendation, already have the headunit; Source for dome lights?

Ok now i'm interested. What setup did you use? I put one from a avalon in my 89 Maxima and loved it but I don't know what one will work for the pathfinder. Pictures would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks y'all. The LED inside the bumper, i got them off ebay a while ago, couldn't recall whom i bought it from. I remember they were a little bit pricey, but worth the extra $ since they are high quality, not the cheap made plastic you find at the part stores. One thing i dislike about them is warm white color, not pure white like my HID.
My DVD receiver is from Pioneer, features HD radio and ipod controller. The back up camera is Pioneer ND-BC5. i do recommend this camera since the image at night is very clear, better than my Lexus OEM one.
LED dome lights, y'all can find on ebay.

This is what i did for my Pathy. Basically just buy any mirror you like, tap the 12V power from the head console and way to go.

I don't have anything particularly unique I think... interior LED conversion (including window switches), brake lamp and license plate lamp LEDs, fog light DRL + stay on w/ brights mod, painted bumpers and fender flares black, retrofitted overhead console ... I think that's it.

I'd say the instrument cluster LED conversion is the single best mod one can do, it really makes a difference compared to the dim stock incandescent bulbs and a couple years later it's still a pleasure to see.

What dome light bulbs did you use, GX470? Mine are the 4-LED versions and they're bright, but yours seem brighter from the pictures. Did you also replace the map lights (which are BA9s bulbs)? Mine are okay, but they could be brighter. I have some 6-LED version but four of the LEDs point toward the sides of the housing instead of down, so the layout isn't ideal.

-JDM HID headlight assemblies from a Nissan Terrano Regulus 4300k
-ARB OME 1.5" lift coils
-Pro-Comp Alloys 16x8"
-Brembo brake rotors
-Warn front locking hubs
-4x4parts urethane rear LCA bushings
-Jim Wolf intake

stereo: JBL components all around, 2 amps (1 memphis, 1 cerwin vega), 2 kicker CVR 10's, simple pioneer deck with 4V preouts, 7 channel equalizer, and USB in the glove box.

I just wosh i would have gone with the bigger lift from 4x4parts... other than that, pretty happy with how it can drive anywhere and outcrank anybody elses stereo...

fueler, you always wish you went with the bigger lift once you start! Always said I would be happy if I could fit 33x12.50 on my other SUV. Started off with 235/75/15's - hated them from the moment I bought it. Went to a 31x11.50, then 31x12.50, then 32x11.50, and finally 33x12.50... Now dreamin how I could fit 35's... Still dig you Q!

miami, those are some great links there. Makes searching a little easier, Nice Work.

Man, you do have quite a few mods that is interesting me :naughty: . It's nice that you changed out your sound system :) . I must agree the Bose on these sucks. Thank you for posting up your mods. I will apply some of these to my Pathy in the future.

I am planning to wait til my fogs burnt out and convert them to DRL 3000K HID. It will happen soon. :naughty:
Something inside the instrument cluster that makes the light appear blue as I tested my LED bulbs outside and they were pure white with no blue tint at all. wish it could be more white. :squint:
I put power LEDs in my map lights. I was lucky to find a bulb that point downward, but never got around to use those map lights that much since they are not automatically turn on like the dome lights  . My dome lights have 5050 LED type.

Yes, the instrument cluster has a blue 'lens' filter whatever you call it. Blue LEDs would result in a very deep blue color. In my opinion the slight blu-ish color from using white LEDs is very nice and is pleasant to look at, without being excessively bright.

I just bought some festoon LED bulbs from SuperBrightLEDs eons ago for the domes and they haven't died yet, and I'm happy with them. Dunno if they're actually 5050 size SMD LEDs or not, though.

Lol, I'll be back some day lol. Ouch haha.

Here's what I went to

day 1:
Image

New wheels + rubber (Extreme Continental DWS best tires ever), Rear sway, Plasti-dipped grill, Vinyl tail light, Hella supertones

now:
A trip to opening day at one of my favorite mountains
Image

All in all, I love this car's handling, it feels so much more precise than the pathy, but that's to be expected. Cornering at 50+mph has never been so much fun. Oh, and all while managing: Image

Really nice front lights :yesnod . Is you pathy 4x4? You should put a nav receiver in the dash, it would bring your pathy to a whole new look, just my opinion. :)

You should do it. Once you did, you never want to go back to stock unit. wish my pathy was 4wd
