I got a Roadster convertible 2008 european model and visibility is ok with the top down... with the top up: no visibility AT ALL.

Also: it's damn HEAVY. especially the roadster. The Bose Sound System is lacking in quality and "punch".

I agree with posts above saying that a plenum & grounding kit shouldn't be needed in the first place...

But in the end: I love my Z

Well.....Yeah, I thought I would give it a shot. I would like to just look in the mirror and know in a split second no one is in my blind spot instead of twisting and turning and moving all over the place just to make sure.

You don't think so?

Its actually very useful and helps you avoid the whole contortionist pretzel deal some people have when trying to oversee the blind spot then getting whacked in the side by a semi on accident.

I was thinking of getting one, they are really cheap and you can't really notice them, I was over at the annual Z picnic and a good number of the 350's had either the 360 convex or the rectangle convex.

I have a 2004 350zr. Don't like the driver's side blind spot. I have the small convex mirrors and they work great.

Such a small investment can really save you from eating it into another car creeping on the come up.

I hate the transmission! I hate the stock lsd! I hate how much money it is to mod the damn thing!

I like how it has 2 seats so you dont have you annoying *** friends poking you in the back of the head! I like the ride quality! I like the exhaust noise but gets boring after a while! And i like how i got rid of my Z! I got bored! need more power with out dumping 8 grand into a turbo kit that will only give me 400whp!

haha yea the blind spots in these cars are crazy! Anyway things i dislike are-Crappy Paint-Axle click-Heavy curb weight-Damn window motor But overall this car to me is perfect in looks/performance. To me the interior is VERY roomy and Im a good 5'11 180lbs. About the harsh/loud ride, well it is a sports car. If it wasn't harsh or loud I wouldn't have bought it (reason i didn't buy the G35c)

What I don't like about the Z is all the issues, from burning oil, to transmission problems, window motor, etc.

Other than that I like the stylin of the car. Could use a little more HP.

I hope I don't get those issues on my 06.

You guys are starting to make me worry......This is the first Nissan I've had (except for my first car when I was 16, a Sentra that I totaled within 3 months so I don't really count that one)

Do transmission problems run rampant throughout the Z's? I've definitely noticed the transmission is pretty noisy and it only has 25k miles on it. And when do they typically start burning oil?

Quit your worrying lol, these are built as tough as nails. And if anything wrong persists, bring it in with warranty :D

I hate the way the glove box, is in the back seat, and the cup holders are too far back. It rides real smooth until you go over a bridge, then it sucks!!!

Its always funny when you get pulled over and you got a really tall passenger and you make him scoot the seat so far up so hes basically makin out with the window!

I think what you found Nissan classifies as a "card holder". It doesn't even hold enough change for a car wash.

haha your prolly right. So no change holder then? I felt dumb when I went to put change in the holder, and I couldn't find it. lol. I normally don't use cash. Plus I'm used to my Celica.

because its a sports car, not made for a daily commute, just used as one by some. The compartments were not made for your convenience, they were put where they could go. The only thing thats convenient is the steering wheel, the cluster, the pedals, and your shifter. Everything else is where it could go for weight distribution and safety. If you wanted a car with convenient compartments and easy accessibility to cup holders, you should have bought a versa! lol

My friend owns an 03 enthusiast.

The non bose sound system is just plain awful.the interior is cheap. I feel like anything I touch is going to break.

...but wow it drives wonderfully

I can't beleive all the whining and teeth grinding I am reading on here. The G-35 Coupe 6MT and the 350Z are the most exciting little beasts I have ever driven. What is there to hate about these cars that possesses my soul each time I get behind the wheel?

I love the rattles and funny sounds in the car---makes me feel i am in a real race car. I can't remember when last I drove with my window up, except when it rains--window is always down 24/7 so that i can hear that sweet sweet stillen exhaust note.

The 6MT transmission is unbeleivablly strong, given the amount of abuse the car can withstand. How many little cars this size can handle the abuse the G-35 Coupe and 350 Z can handle---very few. People literally drift and race the 6MT to no end without issues for years.

The G-35 and 350 Z were firstly built as sports cars before any thought of luxury was considered. The opposite goes for the G37 which was first built as a luxury car before the sportiness came into play--different philosophies.

Well, my 2007 G-35 Coupe is moded out with 5/16" spacers, Mrevv Plenum, JWT intake, Z-tube, and a Stillen TD Cat Back Exhaust. By next year, we ar elooking at a Strup race pipe, strup headers, engine dampers, and bigger sway bars. My tires are filled with pure Nitrogen and I use Toyo Proxes T1R--exceptional tires.

The G-35 coupe is not a great daily driver except maybe you have the auto trans. I get worn out driving the car. So, I have a 2nd car to fall back on, which is easier to drive. Sports cars are not good daily drivers.

You do have a good point. But I must tell you as a fellow member to stop being a...

I must admit I got worn out at the start, but I got over it. I drive my Z daily and take it to Vegas every chance I get. You do eventually get used to it. I could buy another car, but that means I would be driving my Z less.

Is that cat angry at me or sad? Cute cat though! Usually after exhausting myself with the G one feels like they have just completed an episode of sexual intercourse. You just want to cuddle, hug, and whisper into the G's ears, all sweaty and satisfied
