that's an XE. XEs don't have fog lights fender flares or door moldings. Some don't have Running boards, roof racks, Bose audio or the rear spoiler.

Went out to my local wrecking yard. Saw a few R50's there but not alot. Managed to swipe the 3.5 badge off the back of it for memories sake. Funny thing is that I wanted to get one for mine so bad since the 02's had the LE badging moved over a bit to the left of the tailigate, but no 3.5 badge. 03+'s had the LE badge to the very right corner of the tailgate.

If anyone needs any parts off an R50, There is one there that is black on black leather. Let me know and I can get some parts for you.

Now i'll always remember my R50 :chuckle:

I got two new drive belts today and had them replaced. I've also done alot of other things to my ride as well. I changed my spark plugs, changed my spark plug wires, changed my oil and filter, changed my fuel filter and changed my air filter. I also can't forget the nearly two hour long detail I did on my ride as well.

Passed the smog check today. Was a little worried because of my P0325 code, but, apparently, not a problem.

Finished up the last of my tailight conversion (a), found the proper harness for the rear from the pre-facelift housings, it was all plug and play, easy deal. Also have my mirror properly bracketed in place now (b) with a little DIY work and integration into the original bracketing.

(B.) Bracket work made with pot metal, 24" section picked up from local hardware store, sawed, smoothed, and drilled into what is shown.

Yes, from his pic its clear that it is a post facelift Pathfinder due to the different rear door design. He had post facelift taillights and prefers the look of the pre facelift ones.

^Yup, yessir. Aha. There's a bit of gappage and weird crevices but for the most part it fit fine. The ambers gave it a more "JDM" look in my opinion. And it's something different. :D

Lol iPath, giving me ideas for what to do next based off last time we chatted.

Replaced spark plugs with the OEM set at 91K miles. What a painful job. I'd say it's 99% complete because I dropped one 10mm socket and one 10mm bolt somewhere under the hood. Need to find them out tomorrow.

Today I reinstalled the engine undercover. The thing's just gonna come down again in 2k miles for my 5k oil change, but it's not that much hassle. I really need to get a drill to speed that up, but the Pathfinder's is nothing compared to my mom's G37 which has like 20 fasteners and 3 clips holding up the engine undercover.

I also filled my washer fluid, aligned one of the washer nozzles, and cleaned the outside of the windows. I tried cleaning the rear washer nozzle with a pin since it doesn't spray, but it still doesn't spray quickly enough and after maybe 10 seconds a dribble comes out. The pump whirrs and sounds okay. Any ideas on what else I should check?

It's siliconed in due to rust around the opening :( Maybe I should get another one from the junkyard in case it's clogged internally.

I know there is a check valve in the circuit too near the nozzle, maybe it's clogged or malfunctioning.

I finally bled my brakes again with my girlfriend's help. There was a bunch of air in the front calipers. I wasn't watching too closely on the rears, so I might bleed those two some time later to ensure they are free of air.

I'm going to clean and lube the front brake hardware (slide pins, etc), then get a rear brake service, brake pedal height, and parking brake adjustment done by Nissan. The rear brake service should be $40, and the adjustments probably an hours' labor cost. My brake pedal has some slack in it, but I had trouble trying to loosen the nut for the brake pedal so I'll just have the dealer do it.

I may also replace the brake booster check valve. It isn't faulty, but a Nissan parts guy recommends it to owners of older vehicles and they reported that it improved pedal feel.

Decided to tackle two problems I was having finally. Picked up new H3 bulbs for my fog lights and a set of new washer pumps from the junkyard.

Today installed my LED License plate bulbs... I also deep cleaned the interior. Just need to steam clean the seats and carpets and it will look 10 times better.

I picked my 2001 QX4 up from the dealership after gettings two recalls taken care of (Strut Tower Rust and Fuel Filler neck). They found no rust and replaced the filler neck. It's the first time it's been to a dealer in probably 5 years but Infiniti would not stop sending me recall letters so I caved.

I got a free loaner car (G37) and a decent cup of coffee out of the whole experience. I'm satisfied enough with the experience.

It was actually -27C (-16F) when I got up this morning.
It had "warmed up" to -22C by the time I took the pic.

Replaced a severely bent/dented running board.

After several months of casually checking craigs list, finally found a QX4 being parted and was able to pick up the needed running board.

It was a different color so ordered a spray can of the correct color and a clear coat, taped off the step parts, painted the trim and put the refurbished running board on last night.

$50 for the used running board and $40 or so for the paint and sandpaper. Also picked up a passenger mirror so able to use the paint on that too and will install the mirror soon (too replace a broken casing)
