it took you 45 MINUTES to pull a VG30dett+transmission from a z32?! You'd make a bad automotive tech at a dealer, unless you would charge outrageous prices for that one hour of work.

Pulled out my power steering pump, reservoir and hicas solenoid. What a dirty mess, hard to tell if it was the feed hose or the hicas hose that was leaking, maybe both?

Dealer Techs Charge book time, I got a buddy who's a dealer tech, he nets about 130 hrs per 40 hr work week. If you know how to get around something or just have the procedure deeply burned into your brain than its not too bad, and as I said this was the 3rd time I have done this to this car LOL.

Made a template and decided how I am going to mount my Blitz ebc ID 3 spec R boost controler, Tien EDFC, and HKS turbo timer.

Plus I can't wait to drive her again. It kinda brought a tear to my eye because the weather was perfect this weekend and still is.

Cut driver's side fender lip and passenger side. Recovered passenger side seat as well.

Replaced the messed up front fender. Rolled and pulled them about 25mm. Pulled the rear fenders another 12mm. Test fit my TwinZ rear bumper.
Then sent the car off to paint

Some updates from the body shop. Fenders are currently being smoothed out. And my old Veilside EC-I is installed and ready for paint. I've missed having a rear spoiler.
Front wheels specs are now 18x9.5 -3 with a 255/35 tire
Rears look so sunken being at a 18x9.5 +17 only, with a 265/35 hahaha

Stashed this baby in the Mercedes, waiting till after work to go to the shop and start prepping for paint. Will also order 732 paint today



Btw some of the curves had some warping from Concept Z. Coz says that urethane gets softer in sunlight, so leaving it out in the sun would probably cure the issue. i know it's not summer here yet, so I'll be using a heat lamp setup to get rid of the small amount of warping.

Also, my order on the GTS roof spoiler 'solarwing' got postponed till this Friday, along with my turbos and the rest of the slicks.

Got the car painted and picked it up Friday.
This is the color, #RAY, Aurora Flare Blue Pearl, of the 2012 GTR.



Took it to the track not even 2 days later.



And blew the motor on the second lap of my first session, just moments after those pics were taken.

Should be just a few more weeks without the z. then a whole summer with it driving :P

dropped off the red oem tt bumper today at the bodyshop. Dropping off the car on next monday and it shall be back on friday

Basically, getting the front bumper repainted to pearl yellow and matching fenders, and the hood to the rest of the body. Will post before and after pics too.

Deleted cruise control and some other misc. engine pieces not needed. Need to order plenum gasket, pcv's, valve cover gaskets etc. so I can get going on the plenum pull.

Installed the rebuilt PS pump, new alternator, rad, new downpipes..... Then just because I could, fired her up for the first time in weeks! Just hearing her is motivation! Now to install the rest of the exhaust, new rotors, pads, stainless lines and hicas delete bar and she's ready for the road!
