I saw the thread didn't respond because I have no clue. Lets let the thread run a little bit longer if you still haven't had any replies by tommorrow morning i'll move it to general chat since its basically a JDM to a USDM fitment question.

Started to set up 3 different Local Z events.
Took on another Z job to replace the hood release mechanism for the weekend.
Helped about 4 people who texted me today solve Z related problems or seeking advice.
One wanted to re-install HICAS. Lol.
The other needed to know how a BOV works besides "Vroom PSH" :)..
Another with the hood latch, giving advice etc.
Another designing gauge mounts on the steering column cover.
Another with hesitation at 65mph w\ JWT pop charger.
There are others actually.
And I got 1 Tire, 4 Wheels sold today,
And purchasing a new low profile jack for Z work.
Basically, I did everything. Everyday. <3 Z.

Just got the Z back today from Custom Concept Motorsports, had the full 120k kit completed with the RamzyZ idler stud, new BDE cam gears and a new radiator. Man oh man she runs like new! No more oil leaks and no more obnoxious cam gear knocking.

Yesterday I started it up (jump started), pulled it out of the garage and took the front bumper off. Found my boost leak, jumped it again and drove it back into the garage, bumper off. To be repaired when it's not so cold out and I'm less lazy.

Gotta say, I still get that funny feeling in my pants when I start her up :)

If I may: how much? It is the first thing I plan to do once the car is out of storage in a month. Though the car only sits at 53k miles, being a 22 years, I still feel like doing the 120k maintenance.

Not cheap lol. I would attempt the 120k myself but I just don't have time and my friend that owns Customer Concept Motorsports didn't charge me all that much to do it, but it was around the $1,700 range. Worth not having my dang stock VTC gears ticking and knocking like crazy though. I've been super lucky having a Z specialist in my area.

You're due for a 60K soon, and doing a 120K is just a more comprehensive 60K, so it makes sense. Recommendations below:

Once, Z is out this weekend, I will take some pics for the sig :chuckle:

I think I am going to pass on Tomei cluster and pick up something useful like that double din bezel. Yesterday, drove Z around the block, he was low on PS fluid, so put some Dextron ATF and the HICAS light was gone right away :). Also put the new registration sticker on the plate, so wont get pulled over :nono:

What I didn't do for my z?

I decided that I'm going to delay my 500hp build. Have Vs. Needs at this point.

I have a disassembled z32. I need an apartment + a running z32.

I'm doing a oem+ build instead so I can enjoy the Nico meets around my area in the summer. I'm gonna build my z over the winter.

Maybe with this thinking I'll actually be able to afford to rebuild my engine the correct way as well! haha. Thanks.

Some things I plan to purchase are the rest of the wheels, 265/35/18's non Slicks, a stage III clutch and lightweight flywheel so that it's already broken in for when I do my build, and OEM turbos. Should be up and running next month.

Then when my z is running in the summer, I'll do everything that doesn't require the engine to come out. I.e. 1pc driveshaft, dual intake + translator, get my ecu, exterior parts, etc. The winter will be reserved for finding an awd beater car, boring the block .040mm out, rebuilding with forged piston heads, IC piping, Cams, etc.

Please instruct a newb here: what does the + stands for in a oem+ built?

Since I don't really have a use for UR Pulley & Hi Temp Water pump, I was thinking more (+ Ramey Studs):

Oil change. Amsoil 10-w40 for the motor with an Amsoil filter to go with it, and some Motul 90PA for the differential. Diff is good for another 3k miles, and motor is probably set for 10k miles, lol

Why would you not have a use for an underdrive pulley and HI OD pulley? The HI is the company, not the temperature. It allows your water pump to spin at the factory speed with an underdrive pulley.

Without the underdrive pulley and water pump pulley, I'd still suggest the silicone coolant bypass hoses and Ramey studs.

OEM + is my term for it, lol. It's going OEM for the most part, with a few aftermarket bits in between. I.e. whatever I can do within one pay period, egr delete/downpipes, dual intake, whatever i can afford.
