Bump cause this thread shouldn't die.

I looked at her just now in her dusty beauty and instantly got happy while thinking about how awesome its going to be when I put her all back together.

I am right working now but after work i'm moving my original engine to the front so I can take the accessories off in between answering the phone and helping customers while I work. :chuckle:

I had a wet dream about mine :werd:

then realized she was still in the shop.. seeming to be indefinitely, while i continue to pay enormous amounts of money.

I had to tighten the passenger side coilover today. I also had to clean out some wiring connections. Good times!

Changed the oil (RPurple 10W30) and filter in the new TT, adjusted front nose panel to be flush with the hood and the rear hatch release so it works, fastened the loose PS window switch, added the DIN pocket Steve gave me and adjusted the cover/components to fit correctly, and epoxy'd the loosening leather wrap on the DS door panel prior to me making some arm rests to cover that area. :yesnod

Yeah, as far as those green gremlins in my wiring- I found out that they were the cause of my hesitation at 3k rpms. Little bastards were eating my horsepower!

Brought mine to storage on Saturday. Sounds like dogg s*** with the boost leak and leaky exhaust. She's due for some TLC this spring.

Fabbed and installed a front license plate holder, installed new Fairlady Z and Twin Turbo stickers, did the cold weather fuel line tightening gig (got BOTH "bastard hose from Hell" clamps!!!), cleaned what little grunt I could find under the hood, and detailed the window trim. She's a SEXY beast... :boink:

Cruise control delete, AIV and PRVR delete, removed stock exhaust (first time under the car for a good look since I got her home, found a new looking transmission!), installed single cone airfilter and upper intake pipes (just the 4 small ones for now until I get a CZP kit), spark plugs, oil flush, then fresh oil.

What I did was, paint my Tamiya z black metallic (first coat, but needs to be less metallic, will spray with "tint" spray to get desired effect.)

Pics will be up after work, and I did detail the rug/napkin mod for ya this time!
