What's wrong with these chicks in Indiana. They perfer the Buick over the Q? Dumb chicks, but they are usually the best kind. Hope the car gets you laid.

Hahaha, wouldn't that be something. A Buick getting someone laid. Well maybe it helps the old men with the old ladies, but I've never heard of it helping anyone younger than 65.

You're a trailblazer Wes.

Bah! Midwest teenage girls wouldnt know a luxury import sedan if it ran them over and left an Infiniti belt buckle logo stamped on their foreheads. The only brands they recognize are "Mustang," "Civic," "Corvette," and "Grand Cherokee"

Friend of mine once had a 1988 Cavalier Z24 and noted that the spark system looked identical in your photos. Parts should be practically free!

This one's for you man, TDM-tyte! (Thai Domestic Market)

I was also just on the Buick site (curiousity struck) and noticed the LaCrosse replaced the Regal but theyre still carrying on the Century? Odd... I thought they were dumping both the Regal and Century for the LaCrosse. And you can still configure a 2004 Regal if you click on "Build Your Buick" but on the main page it doesnt show it.

I myself have had more compliments in my cougar than my 240sx. Chicks like that it looks like a "chick car." I just like it's comfortablility and how smooth it rides.

I guess it must not be the car, its just the ladies have to find an excuse to come and talk to me!!!!!

When we are at the buick dealer (pre- Q death), they said the century is their biggest seller... THe lesabre and the regal dont do so well... Most people that might get the regal would probably get the grandprix, and those who might look into the lesabre would probably just go for the century!

This was actually one of the first times I parked in the front row of the parking lot...

Really... I thought the LeSabre was the #1 selling full-size car in America (according to Buick print ads)? Then perhaps it is, but full size cars aren't selling too well. There's not much to choose from that price range really: the Chrysler 300 Touring, Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, and the Park Avenue. Does the Toyota Avalon count?

Man, I leave the family here at NICO for a couple days and look what you go and do Wes! Ahhh... can't blame you really. The Q wasn't exactly the perfect car for me either!

Glad to hear it's a new car and IMO, it looks AWESOME. Congrats on the purchase, though I hope you keep close to all the Infiniti General crew!

You're settled in a Buick now, I'm settled in a Bimmer... whatever makes you happy Wes, I say giver!

It's an older (83) 533i that's undergoing an engine and transmission swap ASAP. The engine going into it is a turbo from an '84 745i (euro, 6 psi and 252hp stock) and the transmission is a good 'ole getrag (should be good for 400-500rwhp). I'm shooting for near 400rwhp with just a modified wastegate,ECU and custom mandrel bent exhaust! Ohhh god I love boost! Nothing like a 12 second car for under $4k CAD!

Corey,

That's an awesome project. There was a 735i turbo for sale a few months ago for a couple grand. Looked like a really nice car

Altiman94, here's one exterior pic of my project 533i for you. She's got 280k miles on her and she didn't run when I got her. This is the car I fixed up, then drove 1500 miles home from Vegas in. The body is rust free as it was a desert car all it's life... the rest of the car needed some work though (minus the interior). Perfect for a project like this.

Technically the 745i's engine is a 3.5L, but BMW called the car a 745i as (with the turbo) 4.5L is it's equivalent N/A replacement size.

The first video is of a built M106 in an M5, the second video is of a turbo M3. Thought you guys might enjoy:

Realy? 12sec 1/4 mile? I have to call you on that one. Your saying that a GS Regal is faster than my 330i? Road & Track has my car at 0-60 at 6.1 & 1/4 mile at 14.7 @96.3mph. A Dodge Viper does it in 12.2 @ 119.6mph. You don't think the GS is faster than a Viper, right? If I had to guess how fast the GS is, I'd say 0-60 in 7 and 1/4 mile in 15.5 @ 90mph. That's more realistic. Not many cars do 12sec 1/4 mile.

Wes is a fanboy

His Q45 was a second faster then RSI's who spent more then the value of Wes's Sludged up Q.

So why not a buick that would be his to?

XJR will run 12s boosted out, get real on the GS
