excellent question. the pic shows with almost all the wiring run. i still have to run down the pass fender for the efan and temp sensor everything else is done.the red in the pic shows the little bit of wiring you can see coming from the hole in the firewall, but i can actually move that over and run it out an ac hole thats a little closer to the engine. white is the ic piping and the blob on it is the bov . yellow is the coolant overflow but the hose for that will be pretty stealthed. and lastly, blue is the rad hoses, so as you can see it will still be pretty clutter free, this is also showing the avcr hooked up. i'll have better pics with more hooked up as soon as i work on it more

damn WC that bay looks tastey I had a question about that diff shim from zer...72560I just helped the fedex guy unload my 300zx vlsd and was wondering if you think I could slip a bigger shim in that. I searched but there's not much on 300zx diff. I haven't put it in yet obviously but I'd hate to take it back out again later.

Awesome man, not sure if they are the same for both, but what was the part number for it again? (the pics aren't showing anymore) I'll take it to the dealer so if it's not right they can reference from it.

thanks man, glad you like it. i'm not trying to be mean, but i take a little offense when you say our bays are similar. my wiring has so many hours in it its not even funny. that said, i do think your bay looks very clean and like how its body color

Oh no dought! I went thru your whole thread and read all of it and i see that you put a good few day to that wiring looks good. The thing that i was trying to say is that the bays are clean looking not like alot off ppl, or atleast around my neighborhood, but keep up the awesome work. Oh and this is you r second build as of what i seen maybe even more IDK, but my second build i will be deffinetly doin something what you did....Got a question for you WC, i have a s15 LSD and really wanna put it in but dont know is it doable at home or should i just save up the money and give it to some shop, really dont have the money to give em for something that i may be able to do my self... I got the shafts from the s15 already...

Ill be checking back for the update...About the s15 diff there is nothing that i can mess up, some guy from my town told me that you have to measure some gep or something make it sit in there perfect, and if you dont then you will have a noisey diff or that if can even break! is that true?

this should helphttp://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=245575

heres a small update. i started to mock up the ic piping on the cold pipe side. i took a hole saw to it and trimmed it up a little with the dremel. After that i put my little brother work cleaning the hole with the grinding stone dremel tool.

i then took the bov off the old hot pipe and cut the cold pipe for where the flange will be welded on.

heres the old hot pipe set up

new fuel lines put on

i gave into peer pressure and painted the cas cover, which is why its missing in this shot

keegan ran the remaining wiring for the batter relocation to the starter and the alternator. all that remains is to run everything into the splitter box. we also cleaned things up and reran some harnesses

and heres some random shots of the bay, better then the cell pics

i'll have another update, most likely tomorrow

i suggest buying a peice of rubber hose slicing it lengthwise down one side then putting it around the hole were the cold pipe goes through the battery tray others wise you may wear a hole in the cold pipe.

yeah i hear ya, but theres a few areas that i won't be "done" with for a long time, but i'm trying to do a little bit of everything for a balanced feel to the car. i want to just go crazy on the engine but all in good time. as for teh sound deadening, i'll have to chime in with how the fatmat is after i drive it

Nice work there Jeffrey! (in your dad's voice) lol.

Dude I really like that wire loom stuff. I want to see it when it gets dirty. If it looks ok I'm sold. Nice flange on the hot pipe, i hope there's enough room for kyle to weld it. Didn't look like much to me.Lol Idaho I was gonna say the same thing about cutting a rubber hose around the hole too.

haha thanks man, speaking of my dad, with all the snow he doesn't want to move things around yet, so my car still gets to live in there til this weekend . yeah we'll have to see how it holds up but i think the techflex will do fine, the sheathing is nice in the fact that it doesn't snag at all when running it.

yeha it'll be tight to weld but we'll see, it'll have to wait though, my dumazz bought the aluminum one when i need the steal one so i gotta order a new one. kiet came over and we wasted time trying to make our own oil restrictor. it would, but all the info on nico said that its 1/8 npt but those size fittings didnt fit at all. besides that i did a bunch of homework today but i'll do more work tomorrow night
