He pix msgs a lot of new parts lol.

Jeff I have your kick panels, and I hope you're not mad about me forgetting the PS stuff. I ran out of time but i'll be going back junkyarding maybe tuesday.

If you were talking about the 2 hard lines for the power steering rack just head to pep boys and grab some line. Your brother has the bender and I have a bevel making tool for making the line shorter. Needless to say it's easy to make your own.

yeah it's all good. i thought about making my own, but if you really look at them, it'd be kinda difficult. i'd end up spending as much as junkyard lines, and wasting double the time

Yeah I do Logan. Umm new lines are better anyway man.

If you want to take out power steering you should loop the hoses so the fluid at least transfers through the chambers, would require makin your own s***e anyway. Im just sayin. Always get shot down on here DAYUM.

I've heard of people plugging the holes, then removing the center seal.

Like so.

And barely tightening the spring inside the rack, pretty much making it a manual steering rack. I heard it is no longer stiff when you're going slowly, since the center seal isn't causing friction.

good stuff on the gsr cams

small update

well for starters, i finally have the turbo line fitting sorted out (thanks to logan for all his help) but its male x male 3an to 7/16. mine will be in tomorrow, but they only come in packs of 2. if anyone else needs one let me know, and i'll hook you up. i'm going to be making mine an oil restrictor since this way will be much cheaper and faster then buying one. while waiting for that to get done, i made progress in a few other areas. i did a little research and decided to pull the lower trans harness to clean it up even more.i got rid of all the trans sensors except for vss and reverse. the other ones were completely cut out of the harness and i extended the plugs that go to the fuse block to reach inside the cabin. the portion going through the bay was covered in the last of my techflex and run through the same opening everything else goes though. i think its kinda funny that all my wires going into the bay fit through the smallest of the 2 openings for the ac . to take care of the unused ac hole, i ordered the ac delete grommet from nissan. it'll be here friday and it costs $5.^ the wiring in the bay. as you can see i slit the ac grommet and was able to fit it on so nothing would rub through.

heres the plugs in the cabin side

while iwas messing with the trans harness i replaced the reverse sensor with the one off of the ka bellhousing, but for some reason the plug to go neatly into the trans harness was cut and it was spliced in with speaker wire. it was no big deal, kyle just spliced that sensor into the the existing plug and everything works nicely. but what do you think nico, shoudl i get tom to do my wiring next time?i ked, i ked

i also ran the 0 gauge into the splitter, but still need to bring the other 2 sides into it

the map light is also spliced in and the headliner can go back in

while i was working on my wiring, my brother quickly made a bracket for the seatbelt on the passenger sidethe driver side was mocked up but the bracket wasn't made yet.

just a quick pic of the b&m installed

heres the painted cas cover, waiting for a new gasket before it goes on

i got the clutch hardline hooked up to the slave cylinder with my spl braided line, and i bypassed the dampening box while i was at it

while my brother was underneath the car, mocking up the lower harness, he discovered this little gem so now i need to pull one off of a junkyard car.

but while i was inspecting the damage, it didn't bum me out enough to stop me from taking a pic of the nissan hamburger

all teh next day, all i did was clean and get the car ready to be wheeled out. heres how everything was looking when i left on friday

i was going to go over before work on saturday but i was feeling pretty sick, so my dad and brother took care of rolling it out. and i don't have any pics of it, but my brother also installed the c pillar bar. he had to cut the c pillar plastics but it came out nciely. thats all for now, i'll have more later seeing as the turbo can go on soon

ehh, i'm not trying to fight with you, but how are new lines better? as long as the old ones aren't corroded and terrible looking, they'd both do the same job

ps- i almost forgot pics of when josh was over. we were trying to get the output shafts out of my q45 diff and they were putting up a fight

Well its good that you found time to fit her in, maybe you can score some today lol. On a side note, I read in another thread, MeangreenS13, used a .42 nitrous jet for his oil restrictor, just some food for thought.

Those connectors were when I didn't know what I was doing with the auto to manual reverse sensor man. Easy to test waters with those you know what I mean.

Yeah, real funny man. Real funny. Low blow Jeff, I expect better from you. I won't mention anything about drywall screws because I'm the better man.

I'm really pissed I sold you that battery relocation wire. I knew I'd regret stuff, o well. Your fatmat helped me today though, I cut it up into little squares and stuck them everywhere the dash contacts the frame/metal. Works great.

I should make a build thread over in the sentra section. I'm kinda getting carried away but it's all good fun.

Hey, do you have part #'s for the A/C delete plugs?? Are there any for the heater holes?? I've been searching for awhile to find plugs for those holes.

Thanks

lol, i'm sorry man, i didn't mean to be a d!ck about it. it just caught me off gaurd and made me wonder what happened there you can mention the drywall screws its all good. i used them into the bottom tabs of the sideskirts. what else would work good in there?

glad to hear the fatmat made a difference, i haven't even gotten to see a difference yet since the car is still sitting. and yeah make a thread over in the sentra section, especially with the upcoming junkyard parts going on

well like i said, i spent all day with the wife unit so no work was done on the car, but i did manage to get over to snap some pics at least. heres the car as it sits outside now

it was particularly windy and the door of the black one flew open and caused this

my brother installed the c pillar bar, and had to cut the c pillar plastics, which is odd cause i thought the square holes were for rear seatbelts, but the c pillar trim didnt have any holes for seatbelt mounting. no biggie, he got everything to work.

all the junk in the trunk

my favorite part of the day was that my fitting finally came inbefore it goes on my brother will weld it shut and i'll drill it out to make my own oil restrictor, but i test fitted everything and it works like a charmthe fitting was only available in a 2 pack so i'll sell the other one. i can either sell it as a regualr fitting or make it into a restrictor for you of whatever size you want. just hit me up.

i should have the turbo on tomorrow and some other things, but this build will probably come to a halt. since its outside and i'm not in a big rush to work on it while i have shop time, i'm going to pick up as many shifts as possible to buy the parts i need and then finish this. look for more pics tomorrow though

Man you're making me wanna redo my wire tuck. I thought about trying to get all my wires through my AC hole, but I didn't know much about it at the time. What did you have to remove to make that hole vacant?Also.... what the hell are you using 0g wire for? You tryin to power an autobot or something?

not an autobot...a decpticon

lol its power running for the battery relocation. to free up those holes, just remove the ac core in the box behind the dash. glad to hear my tuck is inspiring though

0 gage has very little voltage drop compared to smaller gages, this is important b/c the length it has to travel. I jumped that car so many times from the back and without even letting it charge it started right up.

Good update man, Your turbo is looking clean! Don't throw that old CF hood away hehe... The cars look cool together. You're not putting that back seat in are you? It looks so good as is!I dont know what the monkey head is for but I like it.
