I do not need a gun to defend myself from the occasional hooligan. If they had a gun and already had it out pointing at me, then my gun would be useless anyways.

Chances are the bozo wouldn't be pointing the gun at you to start with if he thought you had one too. Or maybe the good neighbor who saw him point a gun at you could finish him off before he shot you.

The bottom line is that crime would go down if everyone had guns because people would respect each other and think twice before getting into a fight.

My statement wasn't silly idiot! I NEVER said that a kid didn't do it, I asked for something factual since I wasn't following the story. He stated that a kid did it once the story broke so I wanted to know exactly how he knew this info since they were still investigating the story at the time.

It isn't that tough, or at least it didn't used to be. Go into a store, look at a switchboard and see which line number the PA system is. Only works in a huge store where not everyone knows everyone else.

Call in to another line (i.e. mens clothing, sporting goods desk, whatever) from outside and say "O HAI this is Patty from home goods, can you connect me to the PA? Not working for me for some reason". The employee will connect you and then it's showtime.

People used to do this a couple years back. It was all over the internet for awhile.
