Shipping cost is roughly £54 or $100 at current exchange rate. That's assuming weight of 3.5kg which will be close.

Ok thank you. Not that it makes a big diff but was that $100 USD or Canadian?

How do we go about ordering one and how long would it take?I assume you are building these to order.

I am still looking for a Z32 trany so I will prob wait to order one till I have the trany, unless you are doing a group of them soon then I will just order at the same time.

Let me know.Thanks, Chris

That was $100US.I'm doing the group buy at the minute and trying to get enough people to get the price down to ~$650US. Shall I add you to the list? After the GB, price would be around $810US

Good question! So who is actually putting it into a Q45?

I'm pretty interested, will let you know later in the week. A manual is just what the Q needs to make it more fun.

I wont be putting it into a Q. I am going shoe horn it into a S13 chassis 240sx/180sx and slap a couple of turbo's on there.

any reason why you chose such a small turbo?

BTW ... nothing would make me smile more than seeing an EJ20/25 thrown away and replaced with a VH45

Yep that's me. I'm just waiting on this adapter plate so I can mate the transmission and motor and see how much work I have ahead of me. I've already got some of the small stuff out of the way. I'm also trying to figure out what to do with the rearend. I can't go any larger than an R200, but I don't know how much of a drop in the older long snout one will be, it's off to do more research.

I'm also not sure what to do about engine management. I don't want to have to send it back everytime for an updated tune, plus I want to be able to dyno tune it here. Suggestions?

Not 100% sure on the GT40, might up it to a GT42. Not really high on the priority list right now. I want to get it mounted in first, than spec a turbo.

I hear you on that one Pictures will be abundant. Hopefully I don't catch as much crap as the guy trying to do the LS1 swap.

i was going to go a GT40 ... then ran some calcs and worked out a few things ... and realised that even the biggest GT42R (102 mm comp wheel) is on the small side for a 4.5 litre

GT42 isn't big enough for me... I'm probably just going to use two HY35's myself. With a few modifications I have in mind it should spool quick and together they should be able to support upwards of 1200 hp.
