To be honest, I've never seen a VH41 so I've no idea. I'm using the Z32 starter so it might foul the block?

Have any pictures of the VH41 bell housing bolt pattern or maybe the bell housing itself?

Here, the VH41 bellhousing on the right, with its pattern below. The left bellhousing is one for a Toyota W57 gearbox.

Going to pick them up tomorrow and get costs / pictures. Will post up as soon as I have them.Availability is only machining time and materials delivery. Will probably drop to lower spec material for future ones as HE30 is over the top and much more expensive.

OK, here are some pics of the finished product:Outer is hand cut with band saw to reduce costs on single items, CNC shops wanted a fortune for small runs.Cost for a single piece works out at US $850 plus shipping. Currrent UK exhange rate is about 1.8$/£ !!!Could get the price down to around $650 on a batch of 5.Kit will include plate, flywheel spacer and all bolts and dowels.

I don't think it would fit the VH41 looking at the bellhousing pattern on the previous post. Bolt locations look different. The flywheel isn't included! Its a fidanza Z32 one, I think it's about $300.

Using some [crappy] photo chopping, even if the top two bolts had the same spacing and lined up, the rest wouldn't line up properly. I'm 99.9% sure it won't work but there's a chance that my picture comparing technique may have been off.

Stepping in on Johns behalf as he's away for a couple of days, you're spot on mate, the plate is 1" thick. I'm using one myself in the other VH swap John and I are doing to my own Z32 and can definately vouch for them

Mr. John Dixon....

I have a 300zx TT Z32 Manual transmission in my garage at this moment. Complete with clutch an flywheel.

Is your adaptor the only other peice of material i need? Besides the labor and wiring of the auto~manual conversion..

Just to make sure.

If it is, I have cash.

I'm sure you know, but to be on the safe side you also need the throwout bearing and the pilot bushing... I know, I know, I'm sure you know that, just wanted to add that incase.

Other than that, his parts would complete the mating of the Z32 5-speed to the VH45DE. I can't wait!
