Shoot them an email and ask them to join in this thread. They probably don't even know it exists.

you guys really have a hard on for SFR for some reason. Ricky's car is almost done. Just some last minute wiring needs to be completed.

Yea but dude look at when this thread was started i mean its been FOREVER. The dude hasn't even gotten to drive his own damn car because there taking so long. I mean everything hes doing is sick as hell but seriously shouldnt have taken this long. Especially if he's paying for it, the only way ide let them hold it this long is if it was all free otherwise i would have taken my car back and asked for my money back and just go somewhere else. He could have shipped it to the east coast and had Vinny Ten do it and he would have had it back faster than this and by the sounds of there shop Vinny would have done a 10x better job :mike

It's been sooooooo long and a lack of updates from either party breeds INSANE speculation.

This shouldn't be a surprise.

Speculation is the key word there. And you know what happens when you AS$U ME things. But what I'm trying to get is why are you all so upset when the actual owner of the car isn't? If the Owner isn't too upset about it, don't you think that means something? None of you truely know what is going on with both parties involved, but you want to spread your opinions to basically bring down a company's credibility. You can't always make every customer happy. Tim tries to fix any problems that his customers bring his way if it is something that is his fault (sometimes even when it isn't his fault he tries to help)

Most of you I'm sure have never done fabrications so I wouldn't expect you to know what actually goes into doing jobs like this. Especially for a first time project. There are ALWAYS complications that come up. I'm sure the next time a AC coupe comes in and needs a swap done, it will be much easier since they now know what all it will intail and can get the correct items ordered up front.

lol, seriously now, this is the Interwebs. If you post on an Internet forum, you run the risk of something like this occurring, there's no sense in getting bent out of shape about it yourself. If you really didn't care for others opinions, don't post... Typically why someone posts is to either show off or perhaps help out the community in showing how to get something done. I was keeping tabs for the later reason as I'm sure many others have been. If it were me, I wouldn't keep everyone in the dark after posting such a thread.

As for SFR, well, I believe they have a forum account so they can chime in anytime they want. It's up to them to do their due diligence to save face and keep other interested parties apprised so they don't tarnish their reputation. Any sensible company or business person would do this, especially this day and age when word of mouth spreads a lot more quickly due to the Interwebs. ;)

Spf has made asses out of themselves several times. Thats for sure. i honestly have no clue why he is ok with them taking so long. If i have to hear about this guys money or extra cars im gonna be sick.

My car got turboed and it took a little under 60 days i was dying. i was unhappy with my guys for that but i know shiit happens. After its all said and done the car works great.

We are trying to protect the community here. We can do with out sfr and their terrible marketing and general practices.

I gotta ask, what did they do that has put a stick on fire so far up your as$ that you can't put the flame out? From what i recall, you got your kit from them, and he even told you that there would need to be some adjustments made to the piping. and guess what, that was exactly what you posted had to be done. The TB was at a slightly different angle, and the IC piping had to be routed a little differently due to the fuse box location. Each thing is easily fixable by any competent shop. The shop you went to doesnt sound like they know how to modify things, they are strictly a bolt on shop. After those things, i don't recall seeing anywhere else on your turbo thread where you had anything negative to say about them.

I think for SFR, it is best to not get into a s*** contest on these forums, and that is what has been a problem in the past. He has gotten too into the argument and then personal feelings start coming into play instead of just a professional response. That is just a personality trait that needs to be curved.

I have history with SFR and a few other shops and manufactures out here in Socal, so thats why I'm getting involved with this. All it takes is one rotten egg doing a lot of smack talking to get a bunch of lemins to follow him and start talking smack without any real knowledge of what is really going on, and that kinda thing can kill businesses, and make people not want to make parts for us. We are already a very SMALL community in the modding world, so why do you want to make it even smaller?

B4 u go talking stupid about the shop who did my work get your facts straight. If they were a bolt on only shop then i wouldnt have a turbo kit home slice!

What they said was slight intercooler modification! Slight my aasss! The whole thing had to be built from the ground up. The only thing that fit was the turbo.

Forget about my turbo - i still wouldnt do business with Speed fart racing. Look how the last interest thread was handled with bs circular claims then he gets called out on them and acts completely unprofessional.

He tried to have a d measuring contest with loop about who can rebuild an engine. I think i speak for a great majority and rathef not deal with them

Whatever happened to SFR being a NICO sponsor? And did he ever post a picture of the 2007+ Altima intake manifold?

Not trying to make these questions hard and this time I will be keeping comments to myself.

If you didn't read the quote infiniti_lineup posted from me then let me repeat it for you. Leave "MY CAR" and "ME" out of your mouth when you talk about SFR. If I don't have a problem with them working on my car for this long don't let it bother you dude. Just act your age and shut up please ;) .

Well now that that's out of the way lets get back on track. Yeah I haven't got my car back. It states why in the quote. PLEASE READ.

Just got off the phone with Tim. The car has been turned on and Ricky is still working on some wiring due to the CVT's previous wiring. Should be on the DYNO Sat or Monday.

I believe I already addressed the way he interacts with people on these forums on my last post when i mentioned things start getting personal. But maybe you didn't read that far into my post Home slice!

Your thread said slight intercooler piping modification. the two things you mentioned in your thread are intercooler piping modifications. If your shop decided they would rather do their own piping, and probably charged you for it, then they did a good job.

Edit: after further reading of the thread you posted the link to, I see he even tried to help you, and you are still being a prick. I'm still reading the thread, so there maybe more to it that I haven't gotten to yet
We didnt know it was for a six speed.Once he got it the wastegate had an issue fitting with the linkage on six speed and the intercooler pipe needed to be modified so we paid his shop to mod the car for him.We used our money to pay them to take care of him!!!! and then we recently got a six speed in here and re-did our jigs to work with the six speed!!!Stuff happens dude but it doenst mean we treat anyone badly. And in this case we went out of our way to make it right for the customer and basically gave back all of our profits to get him on the road and turboed!!!
New Edit: I guess that wasn't you the quote was in referrence to. I'm still reading. It's lengthy and just a bunch of cry babies going back and forth trying to attack each other so far.

Final edit: So you didn't even buy the kit from him, you bought it from a 3rd party who in tern bought it from SFR.

That thread was hilarious to read. Both of the main arguers made absolutely no headway. Loop was being an as$ and so was SFR in the posts. I think it's time to let it go fellas.

Ricky, gimme a call when you have details on when you are coming down, I'll meet up with you.
