When you brake going in to a right hand turn does your steering hit your header? I am trying to figure out the best way to modify my header so this doesn't happen.

darens13 wrote:how are you liking that header? i was thinking of getting one. your car looks great btw
i really like the header aside from the fact that the steering column rubs against a raised plug off the header. to fix this i just ground down the plug a bunch. looks good and sounds good.

i just got new side skirts which i think go better with the new front. unpainted right now.

priorities right now are sand and prep for paint and acquire a used legit bucket seat

Whats good everybody. I got some updates for ya'll before I bounce out to Spain and Morocco in an hour for a 2 week trip.

I decided to put my 215/45s up front for a bit more grip as well as ground clearance. That meant that my entire wheel once again rubbed against various parts of the 215s. So, I took out a big a** hammer and pounded all the locations that had the paint rubbed off. I also had to use some creativity to raise the harness in the driver side well out of harms way, which you can see in these pics.

Image
Image
a couple bent radiator brackets did the job
Image
no rubbing!

you might remember those QP dents i got from pulling my fenders as seen here:
Image
really annoying, but i found a solution.
Image
just inflate a children's football behind it.
Image
Image
no more dents! nice!

since i could not find s14 flca's, i went for the cheap godspeed adjustable flca's for $160 shipped.
Image
i have no idea what the purpose of that bracket is for. it looked like it was going to hit the tie rods at full lock, so i didnt use the bracket. they look strong overall, with a few s*** welds like this one:
Image

i also picked up a less molested driver side fender for $10.
Image
^^ this side is also using the stock flca, while this next picture is using the godspeed flca. you can see the difference in track width and camber.
Image
i will be increasing the camber when i return.

engine still runs like a champ.
Image

and this is how she s*** at the moment.
Image
Image

looking through my pics, i stumbled across bad news.
Image
these huge speedbumps plague every apartment community i am looking into in sacramento where i will be moving to in september.
s***. gonna have to look like a dumbass goin all jdm angle over the bumps every f*** time i leave my house.

peace out!

Nice. I hope you know the shank on the godspeed arms is upside down. And that bracket is an adjustable bump stop.

yes i know it is upside down. that was just a quick comparison photo.

i figured out the bump stop thing and put it on. however, it is not very adjustable...
pics of new exhaust and front alignment after FLCA's soon.

tension rods, rear bumper and tails are on their way.

sooo i snapped some pics for you guys.
here's the exhaust i got. its the ISIS 3 inch straight pipe to dual 3 inch tips. it was too loud and had too little backpressure so i got a resonator welded in between the red lines.
Image
before, it was too loud, but now it sounds great. with the hotshot style 4-2-1 header down to a cat-delete pipe, then to the 3" resonator, then 3" dual tips, it purrs... like a lion.

on to the full car shots. i havent painted the front bumper because there is a chance ill be getting a different one that sits a little higher up.

rears are still on burnt 205/45. alignment is set for 215/45, so fitment will be better when those are replaced after some more drifting.

praise and critique both welcome

Put the piggy on and get rid of the rear bumper. Personaly I think kits make s13 so ugly. Just keep the skirts and get some rear valances
