Whatsup Nicoclub.I've been around here for about half a year. I've had my car since June of this year, and I've already done a decent amount to it.

However, I'm only 16, with a part time job, so this won't be a crazy engine build, but I do plan on putting a lot of time and the money I have into it.

When i got it:1990 hatch with 210,000 miles and rebuilt sohc ka (dont know much about it though). the guy sprayed it black terribly.

The stock struts were blown on tein s techs so i replaced them with kyb gr-2s.

I got some new wheels.

I was told they were 15x8 -5 but then realized they are Eagle Alloy 028 15x8 -30. Now that's a completely different story.

I decided to paint it with no previous experience or guidance. What I used:

Turned out pretty good.

Got a piggy lip.

Then i decided the stock/struts didn't have the adjustments or ride height i wanted. I got some megan streets. I know, but i got them for $475 new, so i couldn't really complain. Im saving up for some PBM next.

Decided to strip the interior for a couple reasons: interior was dirty, and it was a project that would give me more knowledge on the car. Before:After:

Rolled/pulled all 4 fenders with a metal bar and dropped it a bit more.

I will be updating this thread whenever i make more progress on the car.

Get some adjustable RUCA's and get some camber in the back, as well as dial in some more camber up front, then it'd look sick. You did a good job on the fenders!

damn, just sold them to a guy in new york. shipping was $78. i would've been much happier selling them to you.

it's spaced for air ventilation. im not sure i like it though. might take out the spacers.

ya, the front rubs on full lock, but when i switch them out for 195/50's i shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, i'd take out those hood spacers. No point on a stock ka.. I'm surprised how good that paint come out, awesome job.AND there's nothing wrong with those coilovers.

So, yesterday i worked on the interior for literally 8 hours prepping/grinding/paointing. I got a shop vac from my friend and a couple drills with grinder attachments to clean up the remaining sound deadening. Took forever.

Today I finished up painting in the interior. Now i just have to wait for it to dry.

This weekend I'll probably throw the interior pieces sitting in my garage back on and it'll be dope

i hate to say this, because im not a big fan of this...but im gonna suggest doing a widebody rear and wider fenders to pull off those rims correctly. it might actually look pretty badass. have fun with the build, i see its going in a good direction.

what size tires are you running now? Id reccomend a 205/50 or a 195/50.

Lookin good so far for what looks to be a cheap as build. I wish my sound deadening came out that easy.

believe me, it did not come out easily. i used a chisel and a hammer for a while - that sucked. dry ice got most of it off, but the there were still remnants that needed to be grinded off. the wheel wells were a ***** too because dry ice doesnt stay on them.

tires are 205/60 in the rear and 195/60 in the front. im getting 195/50's to put on the front and swapping the 195/60's to the back.

and for widebodying the rear - not gonna happen. i really dont want to cut up the quarter panels. with smaller tires and a bit more camber, the rear will be fine.

id rock a 195 front and then later on get 195/55s in the rear since you see to want to run a taller sidewall or something?

I have 195/60s on an 8 and they are discusting but i just mounted um to burn um off.

ya, i might switch to 195/55 for the rear sometime, but since i am on a budget, and even the $100 it would be for new 15' tires, i can deal with 195/60 in the rear.

**** no. i hated painting. it takes so long and it's so stressful. i felt like i could **** everything up any second. i dont have any more pics of the interior right now but i can get some tomorrow.

once i get my rucas ill dial in some more rear camber, but how can i get more front camber if my plates are already maxed out?
