i want pics w/ VIN, a pink slip, some valid identification, paycheck stubs, receipts hell even your SSN.

j/k, but pics would be nice =]

240lookis, I hated how you car looked like a beaner ride at first with the 4x4 ride height and the wheels sticking out but man you are pulling it off, good job and keep it up! Would you consider some fender flares to make those wheels flush?

i finally took the car out of the driveway today. had to raise it to get out (still scraped).while i was adjusting the ride height, i tried installing the RUCAs. the problem i ran into was that i wasn't able to remove the inner bolt, connecting the rucas to the subframe. i think it is the adjustment bolt, because when i try to loosen it, it just moves the control arm out, and then in.

how do i actually remove that outer bolt?

also, when i was driving, i figured out a few things that need fixing.-headlights still dont go down, only up-turn signals/emergency blinkers dont work-tires rub all around (smaller tires will fix that, hopefully)

any suggestions for fixing the first two?

sucks about your headlights and turn signals. hmmm

i have a feeling turnsignals and headlights are run on the same relay or something, because whenever i put my right turnsignal on, my headlights go up and down very quickly

just check all the electrical stuff and see if you can figure it out.

car's lookin great man

i think i might have just not plugged back in the **** for the turn signals.

and for rolling/pulling the fenders: i just slammed my coils super low, so you have no wheel/fender clearance. then raise your car so you can a baseball bat or whatever you are using in between the wheel and fender. slowly lower the car back down so the bat is being touched by both wheel and fender. put pressure on the bat and you will push the inner part of the fender against the fender well. if you apply more pressure, you will start to pull the fender out.

just be patient.

rucas: that's funny. I had the same problem but with the bolts at the knuckle, not the subframe. I just used a wrench to hold the nut and a breaker bar on the bolt. came out with ease.

If/when you paint it again, Scotch-brite pads will be what you look for. They've got them in all sorts of different levels for different parts of the painting process.

ya, i did that with the subframe bolt, but then the nut just comes off, and the bolt is left there spinning/adjusting the ruca. did your's come off really easily?

It wasn't "really easy" but with a whole lot of knuckle wiggling and bolt hitting, that ish came out in less than a minuet. no lie.

thanks dude. ill try to install them again this weekend.

just installed my grant steering i highly DONT recommend them. at least what i used. it is a super comfortable steering wheel, but the installation kit sucks. it didnt make any sense and didnt work very well. i had gotten the wheel as a birthday present so i decided to try it out.

i also got my floor mats in, and covered the glove box.

any suggestions on what could have killed my turn signals? i havent really looked around for the problem, but all for dont work.

Wow that's amazing. I'm 17 I got my 90 Coupe with a SOHC in July 2008 and recently I'm just getting the suspension stuff up. Coilovers, toe links, rucas, sway bars, strut bars and bushings. Your car looks awesome man. Where'd you get the Megan Streets for 475? I'm actually like a few days from purchasing mines. Also any tips or guidelines to painting a car? I wanna do a clean white. no prob you shouldent need to pull the dash i could just reach in under the dash if you pull that panel off that is just above the pedals then you can get up in there but idk you might

actuly you should be able to just pull the switches out of the face plate to get the the clip

as i said earlier, i installed my grant steering wheel. its feels really nice, and i like the size, but it's not installed correctly. the install instructions and kit sucked. basically i ended up taking out the horn fuse and just running no horn.

for sure. most kids these days just smoke pot, listen to rap, and make giant snow penises in people's yards. little punks

but 240lookis nice job on the car. I had no idea that many steps were involved in painting your car, I thought you would have just straight sprayed it and thats its.

and for the turn signal part, maybe you should check the wiring harness
