Just picked up a dohc p/s reservoir and air intake. Anyone running sohc p/s lines on dohc reservoir with a ka24de?

Also installed my circuit sports v2 shifter, and wow, gear engagement feels much better. very solid.

I also have a bunch of oil/coolant/other fluids ready to be put in.

ANyone want to give me some tips on hooking up the clutch cable? Pretty sure I didnt hook that up.

haha well obviously i dont know much. if i just tracked the clutch pedal past the firewall would i see the hydraulic hook up easily?

pretty simple, however to unscrew the 5th and 6th screws that arent seen in that picture, you have to find the best tool setup with the limited space above the transmission. it just took some finesse and time.

Go under the car, on the passenger side of the transmission, you should see a rubber hose hanging there, screw it into the slave bolted to the transmission then bleed it. your good to goo

this car is very very slowly progressing.

if anyone wants to sell me their clutch line that would be much appreciated:

as far as everything else, it all looks the same.

actually, i dialed in my rear fitment a bit more.

i took out my p/s for the time being. just gonna wait until i have cash for dohc p/s lines.

i decided that i didnt want to leave the steering rack open and vulnerable to dirt and s*** so i got some plugs

i also finally picked up some brake line and hooked up my clutch slave

then i realized that i was missing the drain bolt on the slave cylinder when fluid started spurting everywhere. so i went on a mission for the bolt. nowhere in seattle has one. napa, carquest, autozone, fittings inc. nowhere. so for the time being, i am using a bolt that fits, and an o-ring, tightened all the way down so the hex is against the slave. opinions on how long this will last? if at all?sort of hard to see

then i took a picture of my wheel fitment for s***s

^^ lol

lookin' good still. And I never saw your question. Sorry. I just moved my reservoir to the appropriate side, drilled an additional hole for mounting and bent the lines the right way. One of these days I will just do it the right way. Works for now though.

seems pretty straightforward, you just have to remove that unnecessary box and bend a line:

It shortens the pedal travel and stiffens it a little. Nissan calls it a clutch dampener or something like that. Also it makes bleeding the clutch unnecessarily harder.

I just read most of the thread. Good work, I wish I had done more work to my last s13 when I was 17/18. I was always afraid of messing up, but I just decided to jump in and god it done, nice to see some one else with a similar attitude.

done

decided to just get a new slave, and then the day it arrived i found the lost drain bolt

and then i found this crx c pillar bar that i had accidently bought. random metal bars are cool so i bolted it up in a place that looks cool.

and the car still doesnt run

well i thought i bought one for a 240sx but the s***ty ebay seller sent me a crx one. it was like 20 bucks so i didnt really care.

and the clutch dampener thing was super easy to remove.disconnect two lines, remove the dampener, bend a line, bleed clutch, done.

the clutch box is easy to take out, its 2 fittings and some line bending and your set.
