well, the point is that it protects your underbody from scrapes right?

2 Purposes:-Reduce scrapes on oil pan and other stuff up front.-Improve air flow through engine (or keep the same if you have the OEM cover).

But it won't go back far enough to protect the transmission/exhaust

ladies and gentlemen, this is still in the woks. the O.P. is the one communicating with the fabricator and setting this whole thing up. as soon as he gets word from the fabricator, he will gladly take your payments and get the order put in. until then, just be patient.

i was reading powered by max website....and here's their description for the oil oab protector

The MAX oil pan protector saves the weakest spot on your motor from track curb or even speedbumps in extremely low cars. Oil loss from a damaged oil pan is an almost instantanious killer. Aluminum with urethane mounts for S13 w/SR20DET.

it stated s13 with SR20det.......so i assumed it should fit sr20??

can someone please verify that for us? i need them only if they fit my SR20!!

why would this be engine specific at all? I really don't think it could matter what engine you have considering it bolts into the body.

I think it's originally designed for SR. I'm saying this because my oil drain plug is not exactly in the middle of the hole(retangle shaped). 2-3 inches off from the center, but you won't have any problem draining oil. I emailed the seller about this too, so I'll let you know.

Just got a reply back from the seller. Yes, it'll fit just fine on SR20.

I got an email from the seller like 2 days ago. He said it's ready and he's about to pick them up. I think I'll check with one of Nico mods(maybe Eikon) and make sure it's okay to do this here. As you all know, I started this thread to help some vert guys, but so many people want one and it's getting out of hand. Anyway, I'll keep you guys posted.

I WANT THEM NOW....i was driving down the 605 the other day to pick up some parts, a plastic bag fly into my engine bay from underneath the car....and got stuck on my elec. fan.......my fan was making funny sound the whole way back home....when it happened ....the first thing pops up in my mind was "I WANT THE UNDER BODY PLATE NOW".......and i spend nearly 30 mins picking up all the plastic bag pieces all over my engine bay.....

just a little story on how much i want them....

depending on what nemo (my new nickname for 94_240sx) comes back with, this list may need to be recompiled. this thread is probably old enough that we should consider doing that anyway once everything has been finalized.
