As far as I know, this should fit on s13 coupe/hatch/vert with KA or SR since it's a copy of JDM panel.1unar3clipse wrote:Will this only fit a Vert?
Sure, I'll do.1unar3clipse wrote:Count me in, but if you wanted more hits I wouldn't just keep this to the vert guys.. maybe have a mod move this into the 240sx/180sx/silvia forums. or maybe not I remember they didn't do group buys anymore but this really isn't so much a group buy but a hook-up.
Keep me informed about when these become available.
Please double check this will fit on SR or not. I don't want to give out wrong information. Here's the picture of actual plate that I installed on my car. Above picture is from the the Powered by Max website.1unar3clipse wrote:I'm totally down for this buy though, going SR soon and I've read the oil pan is like the SR's achilles heal. Will it come with hardware? or reuse originally stationed hardware?(I'm asking because My 240 didn't come with a plastic one, and I've never seen an metal underplate other than one for an 06 STI)
Good question. I'll give you guys some more details. Feel free to ask if you have more Qs.ishkabibble wrote:I want this, but several of the bolts that held on the stock flimsy cover snapped off. Will that be an issue in mounting this one?
This is what I'm going to do. He lives right by my work, so I'll meet him, pick up the panels and ship to everyone ONCE. Yes, I can take Paypal. I'll figure out actual shipping and let you guys know. If more people want it after that, they'll have to buy directly from him. He sells on eBay all the time, so it'll be available until his stock runs out. I should have done this last time because the price that he gave me was...bakgwailo wrote:I think I want one, is paypal accepted
Give me your zipcode later. I'll let you know actual shipping cost. Hopefully, it'll be cheaper than what he charges($12-14).jamesblonde82 wrote:thanks 94_240, you're awesome for doing this. i guess he doesn't have them in stock yet? how much extra do you want for shipping?
Sure, will do.Florida240sx wrote:Let me know when he has them
Thanks for the list, Dexter. Dang... it's way more than I thought. I was thinking about like 5 people or so... Anyway, I'll keep you guys posted.biggie wrote:If we can get the price down enough, I'll take 2 of them.
I think it's made of aluminum. I would say it's about 2mms thick. Not too thin or too thick. It's just about right. If you hit something, your car will go over it because of this plate. I don't think it'll get punctured easily. I also don't think it'll affect engine/collant temperatures. Actually, it covers less area than stock plastic one, so cooling should be slightly better(?). I have original OEM cover, so I'll post side by side comparison pics when I get it.DeXteR wrote:i don't recall: are these aluminum or stainless steel? what's the thickness? also, how did this effect engine/collant temperatures, if at all?
It should actually effect cooling, but only in a good way. The rad seems to cool just a little better with an undertray on it. And most of the stock under trays seem to be trashed pretty quickly94_240sx wrote:
