ultimate getaway car...

Need to figure that a getaway car is going to have to have a top speed above 140 to outrun helicoptors. Not sure if that covers the EVO or WRX ?? are they geared for top speeds like that if not governed?

because in a getaway you want speed and the ability to hop curbs/medians. it would make a huge difference in the outcome of the chase. Even on/off-ramp enbankments, climb em and still got the b@lls to haul once you get to the top.

I would want something inconspicuous and something that's not too valuable because you will eventually hafta ditch the getaway car... so I will have to go w/ a Jeep of some sort just so you can cross medians and do a 180 on the popos heh

This is the best idea. Something that there are a lot of but build it up a bit. motor,suspension,tire mods ect... a90's Crown vic or 02 Impalla w/ supercharger.(white)

hai there was an old newspaper article about a diablo that would go to the local meet and when the cops saw him they would go after him aparently he has ran from the cops in the past. He would speed off and go into the moutians and turn off his headlights so the cops couldn't see him so they had no option but to leave him cause they couldn't see.

well hell for that matter, I say take whatever car you'd like, bust out the windshield, and buy some night vision goggles. also if drifter sx agrees, I say we incorporate an unlimited fuel rule.... cuz no one has time to stop for gas when they're being chased by helicopters with gunners....and with this rule a hummer would own all, but before hand frankenstein the biggest engine you can possibly fit in it and modify the transmission gearing for higher speed so its a hell of alot faster than it would normally be. Hummer's versatility + speed = unstoppable. well, i think it would be anyways, i sure as heck can't think of anything better for an all climate all terrain chase

yea the tank guy was dumb....bad part is unless you were right next to the border where you could plow through the wall (if there even was one) you'd run out of fuel. they probably get a whopping 1/4 mile per gallon

Hmmm...Id say a 240sx...Not really though, somewhere around the lines of a skyline, sti, evo VII, porsche, ferrarri, lambo, viper, or anything around those lines...Cop cars arent THAT fast though, my 240 actually could get away...Its just they have somethign called a radio and they grab your plate, plus they can set up blocks and they will just get you, bottom line...

thats a sound idea, just get some chaff grenades before hand so you can disable they're electronics while you slip under the bridge, in like flynn baby!

thats what i like to see.. creativity all good ideas guys. yeah, i suppose if you have one of those Game Shark cars you could put in the unlimited fuel code and prolly get away... but i agree that a 4wd vehicle would be the best choice. and if its a getaway car.. DITCH the plates, or steal your neighbors so that you DONT get called in ahead i think the best way to ditch a chopper is to head for a multi-level mall parking lot... have another car ready and switch super quick. then drive out nice and slowly, so the switch car should be like a beetle or something
